Joining in the Human-Monster War, losing an eye and arm in combat, losing his mother in the war, and then being thrust into the position of ruler, all seemingly in the same year has, needless to say, flipped this on its head. According to Lune, the public image of Ruit is significantly more "cold and domineering" compared to the real him: a kindhearted geek who tends to sleep in, has a huge sweet tooth, and prefers {{Manga}} to aristocratic literature. He never orders servants, only requests things of them, and treats all of his subordinates with kindness. Additionally, he tries to be like the public version of him, which he himself considers cooler than his actual self, though Lune claims otherwise.

Monsters are stronger than humans, but less technologically advanced.

* HolyHalo: Is noticeably missing one. The comment about "a lack of a divine mark" may refer to this. This is later expanded on during his talk with Nino, he lost it along with his divinity when [[spoiler:[[RageAgainstTheHeavens he defied the Prosperous]] and [[FallenAngel fell from the Overworld]]]].
