Melting passively gains more radiation from killing enemies, and gaining the right combination of mutations can make him extremely deadly, but he starts off with 2 HP, meaning he dies to pretty much everything. To compensate for his weakness, Melting has the ability to blow up enemy corpses and broken objects to deal massive damage to all enemies nearby and destroying projectiles, giving him a chance to quickly clear areas of the map without putting himself at risk.
