* EveryonesBabySister: Dick Grayson began as ComicBook/Batman's KidSidekick, which in contemporary continuity was between 10-15 years ago. This makes him one of the most known superheroes in the world despite his relatively young age, and one that all of his older colleagues are very proud of to see grown into a fine young hero. Thus, if Dick calls on any other superhero for help, they will usually come running. These same older heroes (and some antivillains, like ComicBook/Catwoman) will rain down the hurt on anyone who dares to harm Nightwing. Especially Batman. In his solo series, this has saved his life more than once, as small-time villains who had defeated Nightwing in combat deliberately let him live because they knew that wasn't the kind of heat that they wanted to bring upon themselves.

* AllLovingHero: Nightwing is the kind of hero who lets the people he just saved hug him for half an hour until they stop shaking, and Bruce has canonically said that Dick saved him (not the other way around) when he came to live at Wayne Manor. Phil Jimenez said it best here:
-->"Dick has so many connections to other characters. In many ways, even more than Superman or Batman, Nightwing is the soul, the linchpin, of Franchise/TheDCU. He's well respected by everyone, known to the JLA, the Titans, ComicBook/DCComics, ComicBook/BirdsOfPrey – everyone looks to him for advice, for friendship, for his skills. He's natural leader of the DCU."

Easily the most famous of the Robins, Dick Grayson was the poster boy for Sidekicks in the Golden Age and Silver Age. With a similar backstory to that of his mentor, Batman (parents murdered by a racketeer who, unlike the mugger in some versions of Batman's origin, was brought to justice or died depending on which story you read), Robin was always there to provide lighthearted commentary and ask questions that the readers themselves are wondering.

* TheDefroster: He is known for being one of the friendliest, most approachable and most charismatic heroes in the entire Franchise/DCUniverse. He is one of the few people who ComicBook/Batman trusts completely, and even has a brotherly bond with his adopted siblings: Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, and Cassandra Cain...all of whom have been some level of IceQueen. Dick has also dated several Ice Queens, such as the Huntress, and befriended several on the many teams he's led. He is so charismatic that even some villains like him (granted, most of those being women, but still).

* HasAType: Dick has a thing for redheads (which has been lampshaded more than once) -- his two most frequent love interests (Starfire and Barbara Gordon) have this in common, as do Temporary Love Interests Cheyenne Fremont and Raya Vestri. Even both his Heterosexual Life Partners are redheads. Of course, this does not preclude him from hooking up with blondes or brunettes, however. He even lampshaded it in ComicBook/FiftyTwo after he flirts with ComicBook/Batwoman before learning he's not her type:
-->"Redheads. What is it about redheads?"
-->"I got thing for crime-fighting redheads."

*** Green Arrow is expressly in-universe copying Batman, and comes along a couple of years later, notably already being somewhat experienced when Arrow is the first new member of the Justice League. Green Arrow is also canonically over 40, despite also being canonically younger than Batman.
*** Similarly, Green Arrow adopts Roy Harper as his sidekick, Speedy, who is also a little younger than Grayson but older than Jason Todd. Speedy then goes on to have a brief affair with Titans villain Chesire, producing their daughter, Lian Harper, who was canonically 5 at the time of her death. Or so we were led to believe.

It was then revealed that Titans, including Dick, had their memories tampered with when Dr Manhatten merged the three timelines together in ComicBook/DCRebirth. With the return of his best friend, Wally West, the Titans decided to formally reunite as a superhero group again in ComicBook/TitansRebirth due to a daunting message from Mister Twister about a threat to come. This would be revealed to be a future version of Donna from the future named Troia (ComicBook/TotalChaos much?) and the team decided to disband. Dick would create another iteration of the Titans alongside Donna to help with the threats that came from the Source Wall getting broken in ComicBook/JusticeLeagueNoJustice. He would later be booted off the team unceremoniusly with Donna promoted to leader once he got shot in the head.
