* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: He gleefully tells Deku that he'll kill him like he kills rabbits. Played with in that he promptly reveals that he only does it because they mess up his garden, though he does so with a rather...sadistic look on his face.

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Bakugo likes to claim that he's Deku's good friend who's there for him...all interspersed with a montage of him doing such things as telling him to kill himself, kicking him around and in the present day telling him that he wants to find Deku's father so he can kill him right in front of him.

* JadedWashout: In spite of having an impressive quirk that cancels out there quirks of others, Aizawa is considered a D-list hero. He's also ''very'' discontent with his personal life.

* YaoiFangirl: She's encouraging Bakugo and Iida to kiss while they're arguing, and gets double meanings from Bakugo saying that he wasn't Deku's whore. Also, when she sees Deku's HeroicSelfDeprecation, she says it's "so fucking hot".

* AdaptationalJerkass: In the show, Iida is one of the most moral and kindhearted characters. Here he's completely bought into the superficiality and materialism that permeates this series' version of Hero society and thus believes Deku was a fool for throwing away his chance to get into UA just to save Uraraka. He even speculates that Deku having an ulterior motive is the only possible explanation for why he'd do it. Though given that Iida later asks Deku to teach him the "old ways of heroism", this is {{Downplayed}} a bit.
* TheComicallySerious: Much of the humor around Iida in this incarnation comes from how seriously and respectfully he tries to treat absolutely everything. After the first day at UA, he offers to be Deku's friend, but does so by saying that he'll be sending over a contract for Deku's lawyers to ponder over first.
* DudeLooksLikeALady: Not him, but he somehow mistakes both Bakugo and Todoroki for girls.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: "Evil" might be a stretch, seeing as he's trying to become a hero, but he's clearly indoctrinated into the current hero society that's all about commercialism and and looking flashy over... well, being heroic. This makes him ''extremely'' confused about why Izuku destroyed the giant robot, said to be worth zero points, to save Uraraka.
* PoliticallyIncorrectHero: He clearly doesn't have a progressive opinion on lesbians based on how he scolds Bakugo after mistaking him for a ButchLesbian.
