In Season 1, she starts as a cold, sarcastic, antisocial mercenary who didn’t trust most people and did things on her own, but by the end of the season, she is much more social, optimistic, and open to others. In Season 2, after 5-7 years of being abandoned by her friends that she took so long to warm up to, she learns to accept her friends drifting apart, and even finds that her place in life is "out there" (adventuring).

* ExtremeOmnivore: In Season 2 Episode 3, the Warden reads off Petra's prisoner file and lists that her favorite weapon, tool, and... food are all "sword." Jesse then confirms that the file is accurate.

* MeaningfulName: Petra in Greek means "stone". Fitting for a game like Minecraft.

* SourOutsideSadInside: Petra did become disliked quite a bit at the start of Season 2, [[spoiler: for going behind Jesse’s back more than once, but honestly, she’s just trying to learn how to cope with her friends drifting apart, and trying to find her place in the world.]] And as proven [[spoiler: in the cabin scene, Petra truly does have [[HiddenHeartOfGold a heart of gold.]]]]

* AmbiguouslyBrown: His skin is quite dark, but given that it's Minecraft it's kind of hard to tell what race he's supposed to be. WordOfGod says he was envisioned as Asian, however.

* AsianAndNerdy: WordOfGod says he is Asian, and he's very meek, skinny, and always involved and trying to manage the latest affairs in Beacontown.

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: One would think that being [[spoiler: a closet fan]] would actually spur her into at least not [[spoiler: joining up with The Admin, who wishes to make their lives a living hell.]] But sadly, [[UngratefulBitch this isn't the case.]] However, this is subverted in Episode 3 if Jesse promises to help free Stella from the Sunshine Institute.

A conversation in ''Access Denied'' also indicates that, at the very least, he's grown to respect, and maybe even care about Lukas and Petra, showing concern for their safety while they're under PAMA's control. While we don't see much of him throughout Season 2, by the end of it he expresses a desire to reconnect and make amends with the remaining members of the old Order of the Stone.]]

* ItsAllAboutMe: Endangered an entire city just to try and make himself look like the hero. Even when it backfires and threatens the entire world, he's more concerned with being the hero himself than all the lives his actions have put in danger.

While he have his hunger for treasures and power and selfish tendencies, he displays no real malice and genuinely helps Jesse and the group in their adventures.
