* HeroicBSOD: She took her practice spar loss to Edgar quite hard because despite having the far better machine, he had the far better skill, and she ran out of mana at a very inopportune moment. When her Tellestarle gets stolen by The Copper Fang Knights, she takes it harder still.

A dwarven child encountered by Ernesti, Ady, and Chid being bullied by a bunch of human children because his short, stumpy legs did not allow him to move quickly. Thus said bullies would take his stuff and run away, mocking him for trying to chase after them. Ernesti put an end to that by using magic to launch him at them wherein he showed them how being up close and personal with dwarf's superior strength feels.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Ernie getting his treasured hammer back from a bunch of human bullies earned his friendship and respect.
* TheBlacksmith: As is the case with all the dwarves shown in Fremmevaria, he's a blacksmith, as a racial specialty.
* BullyingADragon: It was only his inability to keep up with his human bullies that let them get away with it. Once Ernesti removed that handicap, the bullies didn't stand a chance.
