Kovaloo, First Sage of Spirits, was the seventh and final Sage to be created by the Golden Goddesses to guide those that operated the engines of the Goddesses. When the Goddesses initiated their purge of Hyrule, it is said that she cleansed the world of the corpses that had fallen during battle with the Druthulidi, guiding their spirits away from Hyrule and into the void.

When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, Kovaloo, five of the other Sages, and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. Kovaloo taught mortals the concepts of an afterlife, her guiding of their spirits, as well as the nature of the Golden Goddesses themselves. Her work complete, Kovaloo departed to the west into the winds. It is said that she still participates in the guiding of dead spirits into the sunset each day. In later eras, she is often associated with travel, exploration, trade, and eternal life.

Maphaeus, First Sage of Fire, was the fourth Sage to be created by the Golden Goddesses to power the engines of the Goddesses and assure that they remained operational. When the Goddesses initiated their purge of Hyrule, it is said that she drenched the world in holy fire, burning the corrupted monsters of the Druthulidi to death.

It is written that Maphaeus taught mortals the concepts of freedom, fun, and the thrill of the hunt. Her work complete, Maphaeus left into the depths of the molten earth, where she has rested ever since. In later eras, she is often associated with freedom, free will, rebellion, fun, dancing, burning, and destruction.

When the Goddesses initiated their purge of Hyrule, it is said that she diminished the flames that covered the world because of Maphaeus, and washed away all traces of evil from the surface.

When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, Malkorbagia, five of the other Sages, and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. Malkorbagia taught mortals the concepts of decency, censorship, and the passing of knowledge unto their younger generations. Her work complete, Malkorbagia left into the oceans of Hyrule, eventually finding peace and rest at the Greshou Library. In later eras, she is often associated with grace, beauty, virginity, decency, censorship, knowledge, research, education, and lawful morality.

Evaleen, First Sage of Shadows, was the sixth Sage to be created by the Golden Goddesses to regulate the lifespan of the Goddesses' creations and assure they would not outgrow and outlive their intent. When the Goddesses initiated their purge of Hyrule, it is said that she instantly ended the lives of the Druthulidi's minions, killing countless monsters.

She was tempted by Sulkaris to aid in the stealing of the Triforce, though Evaleen ultimately rejected the offer and warned Solahrasin of her treachery. When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, Evaleen, five of the other Sages, and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. Evaleen taught mortals the concepts of death and decay, as well as the respectful preparation and disposing of the dead. Her task complete, Evaleen withdrew into the darkest shadows of the earth and vanished. In later eras, she is associated with death, decay, burial, blood, and embalming.

* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite being the Sage of Shadows, Evaleen is a loyal servant of the Goddesses. [[spoiler:Or not. The truth is complex.]]

The First Sages are beings specifically created by the Goddesses against the many beings that had interfered with the creation of Hyrule, notably the Druthulidi. After the Druthulidi were cleansed from Hyrule, they were tasked with guarding the Triforce, an artefact that would give life to the world and maintain beings that would fight the Druthulidi and uphold the Goddesses' laws and desires.

When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, the Sages (except the traitor Sulkaris), and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. After Sulkaris, the Fallen Sage of Forest, unleashed the Gohma on a rampage which ravaged Hyrule before being slain by King Gustaf, the other Sages caught wind of this disaster and deemed it wise that after a given time, a Sage must chose a successor to inherit their powers and abilities. Soon after naming their successors, the First Sages disappeared from the world.

* AscendedExtra: They're presumably going to play a much larger role in ''Gods of Hyrule: Total War''.
* TheAgeless: The First Sages were created immortal and have yet to lose their powers.

The largest of the Druthulidi, Bellum is driven by endless animalistic hunger, almost lacking sapience, being little more than a giant moth that endlessly roams the cosmos eating worlds unlucky enough to be targeted by it. Bellum, like its kin, is a single great yellow eye surrounded by a gargantuan maw and sea of tentacles ending in more yellow eyes. One world that fell victim to Bellum was a water world home to a race called the Parella, who, to save themselves, established a strange symbiotic relationship with the Demon, constructing magical portals to lead it to other worlds to devour. Over time, the Parella have assimilated other creatures from victim worlds into their armies and worship of Bellum, while others creatures have simple attached themselves to the massive Druthulidi to colonize new territory. In this sense, Bellum has sawned a strange cosmic ecosystem around itself like a whale drawing symbiotes and parasites. Like the other Druthulidi, it was let into Hyrule by the First Sages, who planned to use it as a weapon against one another. In its insatiable hunger it proved uncontrollable, and if not stopped would have eaten everything and everyone. Thanks to a desperate deal between the First Sages and Majora, Bellum was forced into hiding in the polar depths of the northern Great Sea, slumbering in the deep. Since ancient times the Parella have sought to awaken their god, bringing numerous races such as the Zora to Hyrule to aid them, and fostering a great war that brought down the Empires of the Great Sea.

* AGodIAm: It is worshipped by the Parella and River Zora. The Dominion Zora also worshipped it, until they switched to serve the Goddesses.
* {{Kaiju}}: This creature is comically big, even by Druthulidi standards (it's almost the size of a small map), to the point that it's too big to be a playable unit.
* KingInTheMountain: After the Parella's failed invasion of Hyrule, Bellum entered a deep sleep until the Parella returned to the Great Sea and awakened it.
* KingMook: Bellum has also created smaller incarnations of itself called [[MiniMook Bellumites]] and given them some semblance of intelligence.
* KrakenAndLeviathan: A giant, {{Kaiju}}-sized cephalopod.
* LastOfTheirKind: [[spoiler:By the time of ''Great Sea: Total War'', Bellum is the last Druthulidi still active in Hyrule, all the others having been destroyed.]]

Bellum arrived on Hyrule around the time of most Druthulidi, creeping into the primordial oceans that had only barely formed. There it waited and observed its brethren fight, gaining followers from the primitive ocean life and occasionally sending out smaller armies to antagonise and sabotage other Druthulidi. Unlike other Druthulidi, Bellum was content to wait countless centuries for the oceans to rise, at which point it would have a considerable territory and resource advantage over the other Druthulidi who almost entirely based their operations on land. It also began creating portals to other worlds it had conquered on the ocean floor so that it could reinforce itself. Its patience paid off, as many Druthulidi were destroyed by the Goddesses, though it was left unharmed in the ocean depths because of its obscurity.

Bellum usually appears as a mass of black tentacles that shroud its larger form. Bellum often appears quite massive and is considered the largest Druthulidi on record. Bellum is the only Druthulidi that has never been assigned a gender or adopted one itself, even by its own followers.

* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Bellum is by far the biggest character in the game, rivalled only by Majora.
* BigBad: [[spoiler:Takes over Majora as the main villain of ''Great Sea: Total War'' after the death of all the other Druthulidi.]]

The youngest and weakest of the Druthulidi, Demise is driven by violence and destruction, seeing creation and progress as hideous. As long as something is dying or being destroyed, Demise is sated, which, given the endless conflict plaguing Hyrule, means Demise is perhaps the easiest of the Druthulidi to deal with, possessing its own twisted honor code that eschews cunning manipulation or possession. However, this blind drive for destruction and violence generally results in it being outsmarted by its older and cleverer kin. Like the other Druthulidi, Demise was let into Hyrule by the First Sages in hopes of using it as a weapon against one another, but quickly proved uncontrollable and wreaked war and chaos upon Hyrule, until a desperate deal between the Sages and Majora forced into hiding in the far southwest of Ordona. Roughly three thousand years before Ganon, the infant Moblin civilization unearthed and awoke the Demon, which quickly dominated and twisted their society into a violent and bloodthirsty military culture in which the Moblins were bred into new and hideous forms as if they were dogs. Using its new toys, Demise waged war upon Hyrule, until a young Akkalan Mage named Hylia, infused with the power of the Triforce, unleashed her wrath upon Demise and its Blin servants, rendering their homeland a blasted wasteland and forcing Demise back into hiding for three millennia.

* ButtMonkey: Dethl and Vaati look down on Demise for his honourable tendencies, much to his displeasure.
* DemonicPossession: Defied: Demise has the ability to possess individuals but refuses to do so, openly claiming that it is a cowardly act.
* EnemyMine: Stipulates a truce with Zelda and personally aids her against Bongo.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Demise refrains from using a host unlike other members of his race, believing it to be cowardly. He also called Dethl a coward for not facing him and is known for keeping his word.

He prefers fair fights and would rather surrender when outmatched rather than resort to underhanded tactics to gain an advantage, as was demonstrated when he surrendered to Hylia.

Perhaps most nebulous and insidious of the Druthulidi by its very nature, Dethl is driven by overwhelming fear - of 'existence.'' It hates to be perceived and defined, eroding reality around it into a chaotic nightmare, and if allowed to achieve its endgoal would destroy reality itself- along with itself, to be completely unknown. Like the other Druthulidi, it was allowed into Hyrule by the First Sages as a weapon against one another, but quickly proved uncontrollable and threatened to devour all of Hyrule. Dethl eroded reality itself, resurrecting the dead as undead abominations and spreading madness and death until a deal between the First Sages and Majora forced it to flee to the darkness under what would become Kakariko. Centuries later, it was unearthed by the Sheikah constructing the Shadow Temple, who managed to seal it and exploit its nature for their dark power. Their use of the Shadow Temple as a center of torture and imprisonment slowly fed the sealed Demon, resurrecting the dead prisoners and forcing the Sheikah to abandon and seal the Temple. However, a Yiga Wizard named Bongo would find the Eye of Truth, an artifact connected to Dethl, and fall under its influence, beign slowly driven insane with an obsession to unseal the Shadow Temple. She would ally with Ganon and inadvertently release the Demon, which possessed her into little more than a puppet until Bongo was defeated and captured. Bongo was decapitated and thrown into the Well of Kakariko, but the still very-alive Dethl would mutate her headless corpse into a new body, known as Bongo-Bongo.

Demise is a Druthulidi who ravaged the land of Hyrule after the first Druthulidi arrived. Rather than dominate the life of the planet, Demise simply preferred to destroy it in order to deny other demons a means to oppose him. Demise was easily defeated by his own kind and cast into a chasm. He remained trapped deep within the earth for centuries, but was protected from the purging of the Goddesses.

Demise awoke from a long slumber and came upon the Moblins. Respecting and fearing his power, the Moblins easily started to worship and serve Demise. After expanding their empire and amassing an army, Demise began a campaign of conquest against the Ancient Hylians. His forces were held at bay after the Ancient Hylians created the Goddess Hylia to oppose him. Hylia eventually set out to [[FinalSolution commit genocide]] against the Moblins and kill all of Demise's worshippers. Hylia engaged in battle with Demise herself, plunging him into the city and incinerating the capital with holy fire. Demise immediately respected Hylia's superior strength and withdrew from Hyrule after his defeat, though not before mortifying her, causing her to retreat from Hyrule.

* AntiVillain: Type I. He might be the only one of the Druthulidi (aside from Ieamanis) that can be seen as this.

* BloodKnight: Demise loves conflict and pretty much just wanders around to see what he can find and fight.

!!Dethl / Bongo-Bongo
Perhaps most nebulous and insidious of the Druthulidi by its very nature, Dethl is driven by overwhelming fear - of 'existence.'' It hates to be perceived and defined, eroding reality around it into a chaotic nightmare, and if allowed to achieve its endgoal would destroy reality itself- along with itself, to be completely unknown.

Dethl arrived in Hyrule shortly after the first Druthulidi began to battle on its surface for domination. Rather than actively enslave the creatures of the world, Dethl would appear to creatures and slowly exasperate their nightmares. Dethl usually played on its victim's fear of death, eventually twisting the creatures into horrific undead abominations which it could control more easily. Dethl warped entire populations in serving its will until the Goddesses put an end to the conflict.

It was discovered by Ganon and Bongo that Dethl had infiltrated the Shadow Temple for an unknown period of time and haunted the dreams of its prisoners. Dethl was able to extract the horrific thoughts and nightmares of these criminal Sheikah and manifest them within the temple. Over time, Dethl was able to twist the prisoners into hideous creatures, the Redeads: zombie-like monsters that continually died and came back to life. Dethl was able to feed on the Shadow Temple's population for a significant period of time, but eventually desired a fresh source of nourishment, so it began haunting the dreams of Bongo.

Bongo eventually is able to enter the Shadow Temple with the help of Ganon, though Dethl is taken by surprise by the army brought in with them. Dethl attempts to stop Ganon's army with hordes of Redead and other twisted denizens of the haunted prison, but Ganon's army is able to fight their way through and injure Dethl. Before Ganon and Bongo are able to leave the Shadow Temple, Dethl slips into Bongo's mind and escapes.

* BigEater: Dethl pretty much just wants to feed and preserve itself.
* BlobMonster: As Bongo-Bongo.
* {{Cyclops}}: Its true form has one big red eye.
* DemonicPossession: It possesses Bongo after being defeated.

* TheNapoleon: Vaati suffers from an inferiority complex; what better way to compensate than the notion of being able to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants? Judging by the stories of the Triforce, he probably wants to use it to expand his abilities like the Goddesses.

* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:After Yaraxonal is freed and kills the Minish host, Vaati returns to its true, massive form.]]

* ProperlyParanoid: Zalunbar asked him why they left the alliance with Ganon after being so close to gaining the Triforce. Vaati says that an alliance between three Druthulidi is very odd, implying that it is a trap set by someone else ([[spoiler:which turned out to be Majora]]). He also predicted that at least Dethl or Demise would be dead by the end of this ([[spoiler:Dethl apparently died but managed to survive]]).
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Vaati quits the VillainTeamUp with Dethl and Demise as soon as he suspects there might be someone else who wants the three of them dead. It turns out to be Majora.
* TheSwarm: Unlike most Druthulidi, Vaati prefers to remain a swarm of extremely small insect-like beings that infected and took control of other creatures, slowly morphing them into a larger form.
* TimeAbyss: As with all Druthulidi. His Minish host and Zalunbar have been subject to this as well.
* TheVirus: While tiny, Vaati is able to unsuspectingly enter a victim's body and slowly take control of them. Vaati maintains some level of personality from its victims; in turn, they often display an increased sense of ego and self-importance, with a habit of taunting and boasting superiority. Victims are often completely unaware of Vaati's influence and believe all of their actions are their own.

Vaati arrived in Hyrule shortly after the frst Druthulidi began to battle on its surface for domination. Unlike many of his brethren, Vaati preferred subterfuge and would instead infect and take control of lesser beings. When the Goddesses began destroying the warring demons, Vaati divided himself into a much smaller swarm and withdrew into hiding to escape their wrath.

Five millennia before the rise of Ganon, Vaati arose from the earth in a dramatically weakened state and infected his first victim, a tiny Minish sorcerer from which his name originated. Now in Minish form, Vaati set out to expand his powers so that he may manipulate the word at large. Displaying his abilities to the Darknut deity Zalunbar, Vaati was able to convince him to form an alliance against the Wind Tribe. In return, Vaati would promise to make Zalunbar truly immortal with the powers of the Wind Tribe, so long as he served Vaati. Vaati would never make himself known to the Darknut people to give the illusion that Zalunbar was indeed their all-powerful ruler.

A Druthulidi who was more concerned with order and the pursuit of knowledge and survival rather than war and conquest. It wished to conquer Hyrule and absorb it into collective hierarchy where every individual would work together free of conflict for higher pursuits. As such, Iemanis has little value for individuality or luxury pursuits and often stripped its followers of free will. It was almost entirely concerned with survival and finding new ways to coexist or dominate over nature.

Iemanis arrived on Hyrule late in its primordial stage after wars between the Druthulidi had already ravaged much of the young world. Iemanis wished to put a stop to the chaos and orchestrated a harmonious cooperation between all of the Druthulidi. Naturally, none of the Druthulidi complied and Iemanis was forced into conflict, creating the Gohma to carry out its will. Iemanis was rather successful and killed or absorbed many lesser Druthulidi into its collective. Iemanis was eventually destroyed by Valadeku, though the Gohma continued carrying out many of its goals even after the Goddesses cleansed Hyrule of Druthulidi.

* AnimalisticAbomination: Iemanis has a vague resemblance to an arthropod.
* AssimilationPlot: Iemanis wished to absorb Hyrule into a collective hierarchy where every individual would work together, free of conflict, for higher pursuits.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: This arthropod creature is big — too big.
* CreepyGood: Despite being a fairly decent guy (by Druthulidi standards), Iemanis doesn't look any less monstrous than the others of its kind.

Vaati maintains some level of personality from its victims; in turn they often display an increased sense of ego and self importance with a habit of taunting and boasting superiority. Victims are often completely unaware of Vaati's influence and believe all of their actions are their own.

Demise awoke from a long slumber and came upon the Moblins. Respecting and fearing his power, the Moblins easily started to worship and serve Demise. After expanding their empire and amassing an army, Demise began a campaign of conquest against the Ancient Hylians. His forces were held at bay after the Ancient Hylians created the Goddess Hylia to oppose him. Hylia eventually set out to commit genocide against the Moblins and kill all of Demise's worshippers. Hylia engaged in battle with Demise herself, plunging him into the city and incinerating the capital with holy fire. Demise immediately respected Hylia's superior strength and withdrew from Hyrule after his defeat, though not before mortifying her, causing her to retreat from Hyrule.

* AntiVillain: Type I. He might be the only of the Druthulidi that can be seen as this.

* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: Demise doesn't reveal his mouth-like monstrous form to most people, preferring to appear in his jet black humanoid form.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: [[spoiler: Demise's plan to sacrifice Ganondorf is what makes the latter rebel against him.]]
* HumanSacrifice: [[spoiler: Demise intends to use Ganondorf as a sacrifice to resurrect Ganon, since he needs a loyal servant who could command the Gerudo even after failing to cure their people.]]
* IGaveMyWord: He vowed to Princess Zelda that once the Dark Interlopers be destroyed he and his Moblins would leave Hyrule and never attack it ever again. [[spoiler: One century later Ganondorf ask for his alliance, but he rejects because of his oath. He only breaks it after knowing that Hylia has returned to Hyrule and became once again a goddess.]]

* YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame: Demise mortifies Hylia by praising her of causing even more destruction than he and turning the people of Hyrule into a nation of fanatics.

It was discovered by Ganon and Bongo that Dethl had infiltrated the Shadow Temple for an unknown period of time and haunted the dreams of its prisoners. Dethl was able to extract the horrific thoughts and nightmares of these criminal Sheikah and manifest them within the temple. Over time Dethl was able to twist the prisoners into hideous creatures, the Redeads: zombie-like monsters that continually died and came back to life. Dethl was able to feed on the Shadow Temple's population for a significant period of time, but eventually desired a fresh source of nourishment, so it began haunting the dreams of Bongo.

* DirtyCoward: Dethl shows signs of extreme cowardice, a trait not common amongst other Druthulidi. When exposed it will almost always flee.

* TortureTechnician: When Dethl has the upper hand or is in otherwise control of its victim's dreams, it usually displays a sadistic personality that finds enjoyment in emotional torture.

Bellum arrived on Hyrule around the time of most Druthulidi, creeping into the primordial oceans that had only barely formed. There it waited and observed its brethren fight, gaining followers from the primitive ocean life and occasionally sending out smaller armies to antagonise and sabotage other Druthulidi. Unlike other Druthulidi, Bellum was content to wait countless centuries for the oceans to rise, at which point it would have a considerable territory and resource advantage over the other Druthulidi who almost entirely based their operations on land. It also began creating portals to other worlds it had conquered on the ocean floor so that it could reinforce itself. Its patience payed off as many Druthulidi were destroyed by the Goddesses, though it was left unharmed in the ocean depths because of its obscurity.

* KingMook: Bellum has also created smaller incarnations of itself and given them some semblance of intelligence called [[MiniMook Bellumites]].

Soon after naming their successors, the First Sages disappeared from the world.

In later eras she is often associated with grace, beauty, virginity, decency, censorship, knowledge, research, education, and lawful morality.

She was tempted by Sulkaris to aid in the stealing of the Triforce, though Evaleen ultimately rejected the offer and warned Solahrasin of her treachery. When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, Evaleen, five of the other Sages, and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. Evaleen taught mortals the concepts of death and decay, as well as the respectful preparation and disposing of the dead. Her task complete, Evaleen withdrew into the darkest shadows of the earth and vanished. In later eras she is associated with death, decay, burial, blood, and embalming.

* EmoTeen: Evaleen's personality was described as one of constant shame, humility, and self doubt. She considered herself the lowest of all Sages and unworthy of her title.

Iemanis arrived on Hyrule late in its primordial stage after wars between the Druthulidi had already ravaged much of the young world. Iemanis wished to put a stop to the chaos and orchestrated a harmonious cooperation between all of the Druthulidi. Naturally none of the Druthulidi complied and Iemanis was forced into conflict, creating the Gohma to carry out its will. Iemanis was rather successful and killed or absorbed many lesser Druthulidi into its collective. Iemanis was eventually destroyed by Valadeku, though the Gohma continued carrying out many of its goals even after the Goddesses cleansed Hyrule of Druthulidi.

* AnimalisticAbomination: Iemanis have a vague resemblance to an arthropod.
* AssimilationPlot: Iemanis wished to absorb Hyrule into collective hierarchy where every individual would work together free of conflict for higher pursuits.

Five millennia before the rise of Ganon, Vaati arose from the earth in a dramatically weakened state and infected his first victim, a tiny Minish sorcerer from which his name originated. Now in Minish form, Vaati set out to expand his powers so that he may manipulate the word at large. Displaying his abilities to the Darknut deity Zalunbar, Vaati was able to convince him to form and alliance against the Wind Tribe. In return Vaati would promise to make Zalunbar truly immortal with the powers of the Wind Tribe, so long as he served Vaati. Vaati would never make himself known to the Darknut people to give the illusion that Zalunbar was indeed their all powerful ruler.

* BlowYouAway: After Vaati defeated [[spoiler: the incumbent Sage of Winds, Yaraxonal]], he gains her powers over the wind.

* Irony: He is the first of the three Druthulidi to leave the alliance in fear of being killed. Ironically he is also the first of the three to actually die.

* TheNapoleon: Vaati suffers from an inferiority complex, what better way to compensate than the notion of being able to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Judging by the stories of the Triforce, he probably wants to use it to expand his abilities like the Goddesses.

The First Sage of Light, Solahrasin was considered the Goddesses' best work and without any of the flaws of the six other sages. He was made specifically with the intent to lead the other Sages and entire armies against the many beings that had interfered with the creation of the Hyrule, notably the Druthulidi. He successfully lead assaults against and destroyed many of the Druthulidi, even confronting Majora and subduing it.

When Sulkaris rebelled against the Goddesses and tried to take the Triforce for herself, Solahrasin stopped her and banished her to Hyrule. When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, Solahrasin, five of the other Sages, and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. His work complete, Solahrasin gathered his army and created the Silent Realm, a place hidden from sight through the bending of light where he and his forces could rest until the end of time.

Maphaeus, First Sage of Fire, was the fourth Sage to be created by the Golden Goddesses to power the engines of the Goddesses and assure that they remained operational. When the Goddesses initiated their purge of Hyrule, it is said that she drenched the world in holy fire, burning the corrupted monsters of the Druthulidi to death.

It is written that Maphaeus taught mortals the concepts of freedom, fun, and the thrill of the hunt. Her work complete, Maphaeus left into the depths of the molten earth where she has rested ever since. In later eras she is often associated with freedom, free will, rebellion, fun, dancing, burning, and destruction.
