* DualBoss: In Simulated Universe, as part of the "tutorial missions", you have to fight both a Grizzly and a Direwolf at the same time. The gimmick here is that they have a move where they prepare their strongest attacks at the same turn (although the Direwolf is relatively faster so it will perform its attack first before the Grizzly does), and when one of them goes down from their HP depleted, you need to kill the other one quickly, lest the downed one will be revived with a portion of their HP.
** This pair returns with a vengeance as one of the possible Third Plane bosses in the "Goal and Gears" Simulated Universe mode, with the same gimmick.

* TheFettered: Sparkle says that he's fun to be around, but even as a [[spoiler:Masked Fool]], there is a line he will not cross.

** Her weapon is a lightning-shooting guitar she and Cocolia made in school, the same guitar she [[spoiler:smashed to pieces at the end of her companion quest.]] To make it even more blatant, she only finds the guitar again at the start of said quest.

* FashionableAsymmetry: Serval wears only half of what is presumably her old attire from her days as an Architect, specifically wearing the right half of her white coat and blue skirt, while the left half of her ensemble is a black tube-top and daisy dukes.

** In the "Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities" limited-time event, likely for balance purposes, Serval's Visitor Appeal stat is measly ''10 out of 100'' despite her being a famous rocker. The ''only'' tour guide with worse Visitor Appeal is Sampo.

* NoSell: Lynx's level 2 Eidolon allows the target with Survival Response status to resist one debuff application.

* AchillesHeel: Clara acts as a soft one to Guardian Shadows- their "ban" skills do trigger her talent, so often the attack that results if you violate the ban conditions ( using a basic attack, using a skill, or attacking the Guardian Shadow) ends up getting thrown back at them courtesy of Svarog.

* SmallNameBigEgo: She gives herself a fancy nickname and talks of her little gang of kids as if they were the most powerful organization in the Underworld, but it’s played as an endearing trait since she’s just a child who likes to have wild fantasies. And in the end, the Moles do help the inhabitants to a small extent.
