* StarCrossedLovers: Kevin always had eyes on Mei from the very first time they met, with Mei constantly rejecting his advances. Then the 3rd Honkai Eruption happened, and suddenly war kept them from being together, despite Kevin's enlistment in Fire Moth in order to be close to her. When Kevin undertook the augmentations to become a M.A.N.T.I.S., he became able to wield the Judgement of Shamash, but at the cost of his body temperature being perpetually at -30 Celsius; he could no longer touch Mei without harming her. At the end of the Previous Era, Kevin found Mei dead after returning from the Moon encounter with the Herrscher of the End, having spent the last of her energy perfecting the Stigmata system. He thought about killing himself, but the existence of a baby made in vitro from his genes and Mei stopped him and convinced him to live on and lead the remains of civilization. As such, Kevin and the baby went in cryosleep, emerging in the Current Era as the legendary Kaslana who would bring hope to humanity.

A legendary hero from China who developed natural Stigma and resistance against Honkai, and was blessed with "a sword from the gods", the Divine Key that was called Xuanyuan Sword, and warded off the Honkai threats with it, making her popular with the populace. Later, she sacrificed herself to hold a colossal Honkai Beast, called Chiyou, dormant under the sea.\\

Chapter Chiyou reveals that a part of her is alive inside of the beast, with (at least part of) her consciousness lying inside the Xuanyuan Sword. He then shows up as a proper boss in the third stage.
