* ArchangelLucifer: Aptly named Lucifer, he's the ruler of all of Hell. While there are Overlords and turf wars in Pentagram City, Lucifer is at the very top of the hierarchy as a fallen angel. On a side note, while he may be the Devil in the series, Lucifer isn't Satan, who is actually a completely different demon. According to Viv in [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=PKARLiCRocA&t=2660 a livestream]] and [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=fvEU9NOokPM&t=2610 a Q&A]], the series draws inspiration from a mixture of elements from multiple theologies and among them included is Lucifer, Satan, and Beelzebub being separate characters as opposed to being just the same demon per later religious interpretations and etc.

In this version, Lucifer before his fall was an idealistic dreamer who wanted to better creation, and his "rebellion" in Heaven consisted solely of him giving Eve the ForbiddenFruit with well-intentions, which unwittingly led to the pre-existing force of evil finding its way to Earth. Cast into Hell for his reckless action, Lucifer was only exposed to the worst products of the free will that his actions had granted humanity, and though he initially tried to redeem the Sinners in his new realm, he failed and he gave up hope, letting Hell turn into the crapsack WretchedHive that it is today not through active malice but through despair-induced inaction and withdrawal from subjects whom he'd lost all hope for. It doesn't take all that much effort for his daughter Charlie to rekindle his old idealism, letting him become the unquestioned BigGood of the show.

* AllThereInTheScript: Their names are revealed in the [[UsefulNotes/ClosedCaptioning closed captions]] during the episode which properly introduces them.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: When her co-anchor makes a crude remark about a female demon they're reporting on, she chirps, "Hee hee, you are a limpdick jackass, Tom! Or should I say..." and pours her boiling-hot coffee in his lap, finishing her response with, "no dick?".

His voice gains the same effect when he hits his RageBreakingPoint from [[spoiler:seeing Adam trying to hurt Charlie]]. She also has a habit of using Alastor to bail her out whenever she's in trouble, and "Dad Beat Dad" shows that she [[LackOfEmpathy doesn't care]] if others get caught in the crossfire.

** Lucifer's charm and PrettyBoy looks got Lilith to fall in love with him. He even implies or jokes in the Season 1 finale that Eve considered him to be attractive. Mimzy and Nifty are instantly attracted to him too.

** Charlie is very cute and pretty. So much so that that [[DirtyOldMan Adam]] refers to her as "Lilith's little hottie". Valentino even creepily calls attention to her "pretty little blond head".

* BlessedWithSuck: Unlike natural born demons, sinners are for the most part immortal and can die without suffering any major consequences (the only way to permanently kill them is with Heaven-forged weapons). On the other hand, sinners can't have children and can't leave the Ring of Pride, meaning that whenever the extermination happens, they have no way to escape to the other Hell's Rings, and are forced to hide and pray Exorcists won't find them. Their immortal lives are also spent trapped in a perpetual cycle of violence and abuse at the hands of other Sinners, especially if they sold their souls to Overlords, becoming the latter's source of power, which, according to Husk, is very common. And lastly, but not least, if they are "killed" without an angelic weapon, they simply remanifest in Hell after some time, although it's said that it's a painful process.

* CompleteImmortality: Sinner demons, being human souls, can be temporarily injured and mutilated, but cannot be killed by ordinary means and will gradually regenerate from all harm. The only thing that's been shown to be able to actually kill a Sinner is [[ImmortalBreaker angelic weaponry]], which creates a black-market demand for scavenged remnants left over from yearly exterminations.

At one point, Valentino dismembers Velvette's best model to which Velvette angrily points out that "the show can't wait for that unlucky bitch to pull herself back together". * TheFriendNobodyLikes: Courtesy of being rude, overbearing and curmudgeonly, even Alastor and Rosie view her as an "ornery old bitch". Yet she's one of the cannibals and they stick together.
* FurAndLoathing: She wears a fox skin with one eye crossed out, draped over she shoulders, adding cruelty to animals to the list of reasons not to like her.
* TheHeckler: The reason Susan is so tough to convince unlike the rest of the Cannibals is that she's a crotchety old woman who enjoys making fun of and slinging insults at people as they try to speak.

* JerkassHasAPoint: While she is a terrible person, Katie did bring up a good point when she said nobody in Hell would care about being a good person just for the sake of it.

* DumbMuscle: Not that he's stupid by any means, but Lilith is stated to be the brains behind their rulership, which came to be because of Lucifer's overwhelming power among demons. Indeed, the opening narration outlines that Lilith aimed to fill Hell with music and light, while Lucifer was too depressed to do much.
