Replaced some text with the official novel translation. Changing voice actor format due to updated wiki policy on listing foreign voice actors (cleanup thread for reference). Since Wen Chao ended up dying, Asshole Victim fits him better than Laser Guided Karma (which is for non-deaths) and it should be on the main page. I think Lethally Stupid better applies to Wen Chao than Too Dumb To Live since the situation endangered everyone else much more than himself. Combat Pragmatist example should go on the donghua recap page since it's only specific to that episode.

Any adaptation-related tropes should only refer to the novel as the original source since the donghua and manhua are still adaptations. Ambiguous Disorder is now YMMV (under the new name Diagnosed By The Audience), so removing the example from this page. In The Back is not a character trope.

* AdaptationDyeJob: Their clan colors were changed from the [[WhiteAndRedAndEerieAllOver white and red]] in the novels, manhua, and donghua to [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver black and red]] in the LiveActionAdaptation.

* InTheBack: Dies when Jin Guangyao stabs him while his back is turned.

* AmbiguousDisorder: His sheepish behavior and poor social skills could hint at him having some kind of social anxiety. It only slightly got better even after he's resurrected.

* CombatMedic: She can use needles to paralyze people for at least three days.

to:

* CombatMedic: Implied. On top of being a highly skilled doctor, she also owned a sword which meant she also had some cultivation skill, but she's never seen fighting with it. She can could also use needles to paralyze people for at least three days.

* AdaptationalHeroism: More like "adaptational innocence." In ''The Untamed'', much is made of the fact that they're a civilian branch of the clan made up of farmers and physicians who never took part in any fighting and are innocent of the main clan's misdeeds. This is not the case in the novel, where all of them except for Granny and A-Yuan are combat-capable cultivators who were under Wen Qing's direction at the supervisory office in Yiling and the question of what they were or weren't guilty of during the war is much murkier. That said, in ''all'' versions of the canon, their desire to stay away from fighting once the war is over is genuine.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: After the war, all they wanted was to be left alone to restart their lives as a peaceful community. But as fierce corpses, even with their small number, they're strong and aggressive enough to kill off a horde of at least a hundred other zombies that were being controlled by the Yin Tiger Tally.

In all versions of the story, the remnants had no desire to fight nor seek revenge after the Sunshot Campaign ended and simply wanted to live in peace. Fits more than the previous trope given.

* RulingFamilyMassacre: Being the last survivors of the decimated Wen sect, they became subject to the rage of those who'd been fighting it for years, and were taken to a prison camp in Qiongqi Path where they were brutalized. After Wei Wuxian rescued them from the Jin Clan's clutches, they all took shelter in the Burial Mounds, but were eventually murdered during the First Siege.
