In his youth, Jason was a StreetUrchin living in Gotham. He attempted to boost the wheels of the Batmobile but was caught by the Batman. Rather than discipline him, Bruce adopted the boy and anointed him as the second Robin. After some time, Jason was murdered by the Joker and revived in the Lazarus Pit. Jason now goes by a alias originally belonging to the Joker - the Red Hood.
