He would then create the Mystic Onmyou Chamber and the first Shikigami, Shiki Taishou, as its overseer. Nagamasa, the adopted human son of the oni Chiyo, joined the Shogunate with the intent of restoring his family's honour after his mother, driven insane by the Cataclysm, attacked the Shogun.

Three figures of around the time of the Cataclysm who came to study youkai arts under the youkai at Mt. Yougou. After the Cataclysm, they went their separate ways. Hibiki returned to Seirai Island to serve as the shrine maiden of Asase Shrine. Distraught by Kitsune Saiguu's death, Harunosuke traveled to Liyue to learn Adepti Arts, and combining it with his own magic, created the art of onmyoudou. He would then create the Mystic Onmyou Chamber and the first Shikigami, Shiki Taishou, as its overseer.
