Yeah, Li Shuwen was around for the first world war.

* TheBabyOfTheBunch: He is, by far, the youngest Servant in human history as far as the world of ''Fate'' is concerned, seeing as how he was "born" in 1977. For reference, the most recent Heroic Spirit to join the Throne of Heroes was Billy the Kid, who lived from 1859 to 1881.

Considering she's the historical Tamamo-no-Mae, the nine-tailed-fox who won the favor of the Emperor Toba, this makes a lot of sense, though it goes a hell of a lot further since she is also the human incarnation of Amaterasu.

* AdaptationalJerkass: Zigzagged. In contrast to her demeanor as Hakuno's Servant, Tamamo is harsh and abrasive to the point where she doesn't even show a hint of respect towards her Master Twice in a personality similar to her "Harlot Mode" from ''Extella.'' Then again, her personality does depend on who is her Master. After she becomes Hakuno's Servant, she behaves how she does in ''Extra'' and ''Extella.''
* AmnesiacGod: When she descended down to the human world, she didn't remember her life as a fragment of Amaterasu and only remembered her true identity when she was killed by her human pursuers.
* BrokenBird: She once had a happy life as a consort to the Emperor, but when Abe no Seimei revealed her vulpine features and outed her as the one responsible for the disease that plagued Toba, she was hunted down and attacked until she was finally killed by a storm of arrows from over 80,000 soldiers. The worst part was that she descended to the human world because she wanted to help humans, only to lament in the last moments of her life before returning to Amaterasu that a human can't become a god.
* IAmWho: She's a fragment of the goddess Amaterasu-no-Ookami; a fact that she did not remember until she was killed.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: She saw how devoted humans were to her in spite of the dark and troubled times they lived in and wanted to repay that kindness.
* {{Kitsune}}: She possesses certain vulpine features, such as fox ears and a pair of twin tails. Considering she's the historical Tamamo-no-Mae, the nine-tailed-fox who won the favor of the Emperor Toba, this makes a lot of sense, though it goes a hell of a lot further since she is also the human incarnation of Amaterasu.
* LittleBitBeastly: As mentioned above, she has a pair of fox ears and two tails.
* MagicMirror: She wields her famed mirror when her Noble Phantasm in Spell Card form is activated.
* NotQuiteTheRightThing: She wanted to repay the devotion shown by the humans who worshipped her and chose to live as a human and repay that devotion in kind. The problem was that she learned too late that humans didn't want devotion and was killed by the same people who worshipped her and tried to help as Toba's consort.
* PaperTalisman: She wields them, both in and out of her Moon Crux form.
* PowerLimiter: Her existence as a Servant actually weakens her power, as each incarnation of Caster (i.e. Tamamo-Shark, Tamamo-Cat and Tamamo-vitch) are but one of nine fragments of the original Tamamo. When all nine are brought together, her power is comparable to that of a ''god.''
* TheTease: She certainly lives up to that reputation. Not even Aoi is safe from her, as evidence in the final chapter of ''Fate/VRAINS'' and in the crossover ''Digital Vrains.''
* YamatoNadeshiko: Downplayed. Tamamo looks like one, but she has a very flirty way of speaking. That said, she does genuinely want to become a good wife to whoever becomes her Master.

Originally a part of the Shinto Sun Goddess Amaterasu-no-Ookami, Tamamo-no-Mae was the consort to Emperor Toba and lived a luxurious and comfortable lifestyle until the day Toba fell ill. It was when the shinto priest Abe no Seimei arrived to heal the Emperor that Tamamo's vulpine features were revealed and claimed she was the source behind her illness. Forced to flee and saddened by the hostility humans showed her when she only attempted to help them prosper, she remembered her true nature and died at the hands of her human pursuers, later becoming an infamous figure in life.

Legendary souls who became recognized for their impressive feats while still among the living. As time passed, their legends grew and, as they became more recognized throughout human history, they joined the Throne of Heroes. Once, long ago, there was a hero in the modern era of magecraft. He dreamed of one day becoming a "hero of justice," but such lofty ideals had betrayed him. His fate was determined not out on the battlefield in pursuit of justice, but by courty system. Though his actions were questionable, he was remembered for his accomplishments and deeds. A hero who's name has been forgotten.
\\
\\
Yes, even now, he remains a nameless hero, meant to represent someone with no background of their own. It was almost as if these two were made for one another. Perhaps this time, he would live up to his ideals. Perhaps this time, he would truly be a "hero of justice."
----
* AloofBigBrother: He's more or less adopted this role since his and Hakuno's arrival in the world of ''VRAINS''.
* AlternateSelf: Is this to his ''stay night'' counterpart.
* AntiHero: In life, he was this. He confessed that he had killed innocent bystanders and ''even children'' in pursuit of his dreams. This was ultimately what ended his career: his best friend, concerned that he was going down the path of a KnightTemplar and couldn't be persuaded, turned him over to the police.
* BigDamnHeroes: Through the use of Hakuno's last Command Seal and the Regalia, Archer saved his Master from being deleted. The rescue also resulted in him being made into a Duel Monster card, and much of his abilities made into Spells and Traps.
* BornUnlucky: Subverted. Since being made into a Duel Monster card, Nameless doesn't seem to adhere to the classification and ranking system of Servants.
* DeadpanSnarker: Oh, come on. It's ''Archer''.
-->'''Nameless''': ''(to Berserker)'': Hello, Li Shuwen. Miss me?
* DoNotCallMePaul: He does not appreciate being called by his former name. As far as he is concerned, Shirou Emiya and himself are two different people. That being said, he does acknowledge that he came to be because of Shirou Emiya's actions in life.

* HeroicSelfDeprecation: He doesn't have a very good view of himself, despite Hakuno stating that he is a good person.
* PrinciplesZealot: Archer believes that he was guilty of this, the principle in question being justice. It was also why his best friend was so concerned about him, as they feared he might end up becoming a KnightTemplar.
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: He was capable of creating any weapon he saw through Tracing and Projection. All weapons he's since learned are now Equip Spells.
* VigilanteMan: This was how Archer was in real life.
* WouldHurtAChild: He was willing to kill even children in his pursuit of his ideals, but that didn't mean he had to like it.

A world-renown explorer who traveled across the seas, Francis Drake was a name no one didn't know. The second person to travel across the globe successfully, Drake allowed Europe to become the superpower it was in the day during the Age of Discovery.
\\
\\
However, the subject of Francis Drake's own existence is one of question. Some believed that Francis Drake was, in truth, Queen Elizabeth who pursued a life of adventure. Though she was a woman, Drake was not looked down upon and was even welcomed with respect, for her efforts and abilities demanded it.
\\
\\
During the Age of Discovery, when Spain and England came to blows, the former had suffered a terrible defeat at her hands, and for that she was known to them as "[[TheDreaded Teremoso el Draque]]" -- The Devil.
\\
\\
Even after she has died and has joined the Throne of Heroes, she still sails across the sea. Together, with her new First Mate.
----
* ActionGirl: Historically, Francis Drake was male, but Rider is female (possibly because she's Queen Elizabeth in disguise) and she was one of the most feared pirates of her time.
* TheDreaded: She was rightfully feared by the Spanish, and was practically called the Devil.
* EyepatchOfPower: Since her design is based off of her appearance in ''Extella Link'', Rider wears an eyepatch over her right eye.
* FieryRedhead: While she's not fiery, she's quite enthusiastic when it comes to her job.
* FlauntingYourFleets: Due to Shinji utilizing the fan-made Scoundrel deck, which is supported by the Fur Hire archtype, Drake commands her own personal fleet of ships.
* MoreDakka: When the Golden Hind is equipped to her, she and every monster on her field is armed with giant cannons.
* {{Pirate}}: Invokes this image more than her original appearance, and she even commands her own fleet in the form of the Scoundrel monsters that serve as their ships and the Fur Hire deck as her crew.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Shinji, even though their relationship is more along the lines of crewmate and Captain.
* UnnecessarilyLargeVessel: Her flagship, the Golden Hind, is quite large in comparison to the other ships at her disposal.

In spite of his fierce loyalty, he was unaware of the plight that plagued Arthur's mind. When Lancelot's affair with Queen Guinevere had come to light, and war had ultimately broke out, Gawain remained at his king's side and served as his right-hand man until the end.
\\
\\
Now a Servant, he answers to another. One who has the capacity to rule as King. And like before, he would offer his sword to this person, and see that he obtained the throne.
----
* BadassBoast: When he prepares to use Galatine, he recites the same chant he would speak when he would activate his Noble Phantasm.
* CovertPervert: Alongside Leo, he is ''very'' interested in comparing Nero's technique with Kiara's when Leo ponders whether or not they'll see a recreation of the Kiara Incident as Nero begins to flirt with Hakuno.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Like Leo, he has blonde hair. He's also one of King Arthur's personal soldiers; a Knight of the Round Table.
* MythologyGag: One of Leo's Spells is "Lion King's Mantle," referring to ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder'''s Camelot Singularity, where Gawain served as a villain under the Lion King, an AlternateSelf of Artoria that had become a Divine Spirit thanks to Rhongomyniad.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Artoria when he was alive and presently to Leo.

!!Gilgamesh
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gil_base.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''The King of Heroes'']]

The oldest hero known in human history, and one of the most powerful Servants in existence.
\\
\\
Prior to his inclusion in the Throne of Heroes, Gilgamesh was created by the gods in the hopes that he would one day lead humanity into the proper path. [[BlueAndOrangeMorality However, Gilgamesh had come to understand humans and gods in a way that neither side truly understood]], and he became a tyrant. In spite of this fact, he had found a friend in Enkidu, an existence meant to keep a watchful eye on the king.
\\
\\
Due to his overwhelming power, Gilgamesh could not be summoned in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War, as the rules wanted there to be a SoleSurvivor, not the strongest Master. Hence, he could only be called from the Far Side of the Moon.
----
* TheAce: His status as one of the strongest Servants in the Nasuverse translates very well into Duel Monsters. He is by far Hakuno's strongest monster, and he is very eager to show just how strong he is by fighting Kiara.
* {{Bishonen}}: Have you ''seen'' him?!
* BlingOfWar: His usual attire has him dressed in gold armor.
* DeadpanSnarker: Has shades of this, as demonstrated by his reaction to Hakuno's HeroicBSOD in chapter 22.
-->'''Gilgamesh''': Ugh, must you continue with this sappy drama?!
* GoldColoredSuperiority: Befitting one of the most powerful Servants in the entire Nasuvere, Gilgamesh is almost always wearing his golden armor.
* InstantWinCondition: As a Duel Monster, he's one of the few who has these. If Hakuno doesn't have any cards on the field except him while he's equipped with Ea, and doesn't have any cards in her hand or in her graveyard, she automatically wins the duel.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While his personality might be considered abrasive, he does seem to genuinely care about Hakuno, in his own way.
* MyRulesAreNotYourRules: Gilgamesh is stated in the author's notes to be a temperamental card in comparison to the other Servants that have become Duel Monsters in the story. [[WordOfGod According to the author]], Gilgamesh will only allow someone to someone him when he ''wants'' to be summoned.
* NoSell: He can't be destroyed by battle or by card effect, and he locks down the effect of ''any'' monster that's unfortuante enough to be next to his Link Arrow. He's also a Link 8, which means he can effectively lock down the majority of his opponents. And since he's Link 8, that means his effects can lock down Kiara.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Has red eyes that signify his godly heritage, and ''he is the last person you want to piss off''.
* RousingSpeech: Gives one to Hakuno, in his own JerkWithAHeartOfGold style.
-->'''Gilgamesh''': [[YouFool Fool]]! Are you truly so blind? Have you learned nothing while participating in the rules of the World?! I would not show myself to you if I did not think you had the possibility of beating her. Answer me, mongrel! [[RememberWhenYouBlewUpASun Who overcame all adversity and is standing before me? Who was it that achieved victory, despite having no history to call your own? Who was it that defeated that mongrel Saver? Who was it that fought with blood, sweat and tears to stand where she does now?]] Time and time again, you stood at a wall, and each and every time, rather than despair like some lesser fool, you chose to break down the wall with your bare hands. Your resolve is your most powerful asset. Now, tell me this. Do you still have it? The resolve and willingness to overcome this obstacle? Or will you spit on the faces and lives of those you swore you would protect? Are you so weak that you would break the one thing you hold dear?
* StoryBreakerPower: In ''CCC'', Gilgamesh couldn't be summoned in the Near Side, since anyone who summoned him might as well have already won the Holy Grail War. WordOfGod also states this as much, hence why Gilgamesh will only allow Hakuno to summon him when it interests him, not too differently from his statement of him being her Servant in ''CCC'' as that of an observer, witnessing her story to its conclusion. As a Duel Monster, his effects makes him one of the most dangerous cards in existence and can destroy almost anyone Hakuno throws at him. That isn't even going into what he can do with Ea equipped, much less his InstantWinCondition.
* TheUnseen: Initially, Gilgamesh's presence was only alluded to in the author's notes, never appearing or even hinted at in the story proper until Chapter 15, though Hakuno only heard his voice. He finally appeared at the end of Chapter 19, and makes his full debut in Chapter 22.

[[caption-width-right:302:''Killer of Servants'']]
The last Servant to be summoned in ''Fate/VRAINS''. His Matrix was retrieved by SOL Technologies when they investigated the newly created VRAINS network and created his Servant Vessel using Cyberse data material.
----
* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: Downplayed. In ''Requiem'', Voyager was the last Servant to be summoned by Erice Utsumi, the only person who lacked a Holy Grail and a Servant until she got him. Here, his Servant Vessel was created by SOL Technology.
* NoNameGiven: At the time of this writing, the identity of Voyager is unknown, even in the source material in which he appears in.
