* HeroesWantRedHeads: His girlfriend Bianca is a redhead.

* HeroesWantRedheads: His first love interest had dark red hair. His second love, Bianca is also a redhead (and is even said to look like his first love). His third love Skye is described as having dark auburn hair (which is closer to reddish-brown, but still).

* AmbiguousDisorder: Even before she became a vampire, she was mentioned as being a bit strange. She had a short attention-span, was very rebellious, frequently talked to herself and generally seemed to be [[{[CloudCuckoolander off in a world of her own]]. After becoming a vampire, she's clearly insane.

* ButNotTooBlack: She's described as a light-skinned black woman. Justified in that she specifically states she's of mixed ethnicity. It's also deconstructed / PlayedForDrama, as Patrice was born in the [[DeepSouth South of America]] prior to the Civil War and was 'black enough' to be enslaved, but 'white enough' to be considered 'attractive' and [[SexSlave groomed for prostitution]]. Bianca is understandably disgusted and horrified when Patrice recounts this. Luckily, after Patrice became a vampire, she "[[SympatheticMurderer didn't have to put up with that anymore]]".

* OverProtectiveDad: Can be one to Bianca, though he eases up eventually.
* PapaWolf: Sometimes takes it to OverProtectiveDad levels, but he will do just about anything to protect Bianca. Notably, whilst he previously had respect and trust for [[spoiler: Mrs Bethany]], he turns on her the moment Bianca reveals her true colours, largely due to the threat she poses to his daughter.

* AsianAirhead: She comes across as dim-witted and vapid, often [[CaptainObvious stating the obvious]]. Skye thinks of her as the Tipton variety at first, viewing her as a selfish BrainlessBeauty who stole her boyfriend and looks down her like everyone else, but from what we see of her she leans closer to the Cutie variety; Britnee isn’t intentionally malicious and just doesn’t always think about what she says [[spoiler:plus it’s revealed she didn’t start dating Craig until after he broke up with Skye]]. It's also downplayed, as in the third act it’s revealed she’s not nearly as stupid and shallow as others think.
* CurvesInAllTheRightPlaces: She’s described as being slightly heavy-set though Skye adds she’s got her weight in “all the right places: boobs and butt”.

* TheOlderImmortal: At over 2000, he's the oldest character to appear in the series, though he [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld certainly doesn't look it]].

* BeautyIsBad: She's compared to a goddess in appearance, but is definitely evil.
* DarkActionGirl: Was a warrior in her human life and can still kick some ass now.
* TheDragon: To Redgrave. [[spoiler: It turns out she's planning on betraying him]].

* FemmeFatale: Has shades of this.

* TheStarscream: [[spoiler: Turns out to be this to Redgrave (combined with BestServedCold)]], though she never actually gets to kill [[spoiler: Redgrave]] herself, as [[spoiler: Charity beats her to it]].
