* TheAce: She is very good at what ever she sets her mind on, such as school work, and helping people
* AdaptationDyeJob: Should she succeed in reliving her mother's story, this Snow White will be blonde.

* CelibateHeroine: She is destined to be with Daring, but both state that they are not dating since they have Forever After to be together. So while Daring flirts with anything female, Apple has no shiptease with anyone... male.

** The reason she's so hellbent on living her destiny? [[spoiler: She almost drowned as a child by wandering off on her own and now feels the only way to be safe is by staying in her story.]]

* SherlockScan: In ''The Unfairest of them All'' Apple interprets her mothers advice on leadership "Always smile and look people in the eye, then look deeper" into this by noticing the small details of her friends actions and then using prior knowledge to put them to work as group in the most effective way.

* InHarmsWay: Briar is a text book Adrenaline Junkie, if it will get your blood pumping chances are you'll see her at the front of the line, be it bungie jumping off a giant bean stalk, jumping out a castle window, or parachuting off a dragon, among many other dangerously thrilling activities.

* ExactTimeToFailure: If she is late to anything the clothes she is wearing at the time will turn into rags. The webepisode ''Ashlynn's Fashion Frolic'' reveals that the same happens to ''all'' clothes designed by her, and it happens at noon.

* ToxicFriendInfluence: To Sparrow in the webisodes, but in ''Next Top Villain" it's reversed.

** The trope also comes into play with the girls' CharacterDevelopment. Raven starts the series completely against her destiny and thoroughly belives there is no good reason to ever accept it, a true Rebel. But as the series has gone on, Raven is shown a few times that not only can destiny not be denied, those she loves and care about depend on her accepting it. She has gone from being a Rebel, to learning what it means to be a Royal.

* SmarterThanTheyLook: She may be a bit of an oddball, but she knows when to take advantage of the narrators (such as learning the information Bunny and Alistair are researching by asking Brooke in ''Way Too Wonderland''), and she initially picks up on Jackie's sarcasm in "No Business like Snow Business", but she's reassured when Jackie says she was genuine.

* ToxicFriendInfluence: In ''Next Top Villain'' he is this to Duchess, though in the webisodes it's reversed.

* BatmanGambit: The Evil Queen pulls a pretty good one in ‘’Unfairest of Them All’’. [[spoiler: She tells Apple and Raven the ingredients for a spell they must cast to prove Maddie innocent of a crime, but she also tricks them into gathering two extras: [[ItMakesSenseInContext tea made from a will-o’-the-wisp and an egg laid by Baba Yaga’s hut.]] When her mirror was left unattended, the hatchling from the egg would drink the tea and use it’s dimension travelling properties to set her free. It would have succeeded had the girls not figured it out at the last minute.]]

* HiddenDepths: Snow White's book incarnation. When Apple tells her about how Raven doesn't want to be evil in ''The Unfairest of Them'', she doesn't object to the idea; in fact, she reveals that she regrets not trying to befriend Raven's mother more and stop her from being so evil and she says Raven "was always such a nice girl". She also advises Apple to keep smiling at everyone no matter how bad it gets. Apple thinks her advice is useless at first, but in the end it helps her [[spoiler: to get all the Royals and Rebels working together to clean up the treasure room so they can preform the spell and save Maddie.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: In the cartoons, Snow White is a StageMom that wants Apple to get her happy ending because of the Snow White reputation and legacy Apple has to mantain. Still, whenever the situation needs it her heart is in the right place, such as willing to forfeit the dragon game because Darling was injured.

* KnightTemplarParent: The Evil Queen's letter to Raven reveals that the whole reason why she causes so much evil is because she was sick and tired of everyone mistreating her daughter because of her parentage.

* WellIntentionedExtremist: The Evil Queen actually causes all the evil in Fairy Tale Land because she wants to give Raven a good future where people will love her for who she is. It's just that she has a very twisted viewpoint in that people should love Raven out of ''fear.''

** DefrostingIceQueen: Spending more time with Raven and the rest of the Rebels allow her to be more open and even socialize with others more easily. Heck, she even starts to show more wolf-like characteristics around pretty much anyone.
