Many Italian stories see Rockerduck challenging Scrooge in a random business field, trying to proof he's the best business man in Duckburgh. While he almost always shows incredible skills and ambition, in the end Scrooge always has the upper hand, making Rockerduck the ultimate Number Two.

* {{Flanderization}}: In his first appearance, Glomgold wasn't especially dishonest--he was basically a MirrorCharacter to scrooge. The second story had him attempt to sabotage Scrooge's fortune in order to win a competition, but he was shown stricken with guilt at "betraying my dear old mother's fondest hopes" and "becoming a scoundrel- all to win the title of world's richest duck!" (at least until he was offered another chance to sabotage Scrooge, which he readily accepts) It was in his third appearance that he became the bad guy he is known as today, attempting to murder Scrooge and his nephews multiple times.

* AntiVillain: Zoola was completely right in wanting revenge on Scrooge for destroying his village and throwing his tribe off their rightful lands, and the only really villainous thing he does is going after Donald as an acceptable substitute for Scrooge. He also publically humiliated Scrooge when they first met, as shown in ''The Empire Builder Of Calisota'', but Scrooge was acting like such an insufferable ass, he really deserved every bit of it.

Added DiffLines:

* TheNeedless: Even though the story makes it clear that Bombie isn't actually undead, his zombified state means that he doesn't need to eat, sleep or even ''breathe'' as long as the trance lasts, which is pushing 50 years by the time he first appears in canon. He can walk across the frozen wastes of the Arctic and the bottom of the ocean with no problem.
