* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: While in canon it's shown that his Quirk is far from useless, here that is exploited full-force. Izuku specifically chose to fuse with Minoru over Tsuyu during the USJ incident because his Quirk was more versatile and ideal for capturing. The resulting fusion[[spoiler:s]] with Minoru show that the sticking properties of his Quirk is their main advantage, and it allows them to restrain several members of the League of Villains, [[spoiler:including Kurogiri, Shigaraki, and Nomu]].

* UnderestimatingBadassery: Downplayed. While he recognized that Momo and Izuku's Quirks were strong in their own right, even noting how well they complemented each other, he still believed that even together, they were no match for his ice. Not only did they bypass his ice easily by themselves, Izuku's Human Fusion proved to be far more powerful than anything that Shoto by himself could do, especially with his refusal to use his left side.

* FireForgedFriends: Literally. All the people Izuku fuses with develop a much closer bond with him upon de-fusion, to the point of being on a FirstNameBasis with him [[spoiler:and whoever else they might have fused with in the interim]]. After all, it's hard to be aloof with someone who's merged with you on a physical, spiritual, and mental level.

* GoalOrientedEvolution: Human fusion has hints of this. Every fusion has a quirk mutation that is superior to the original quirk, rather than staying the same or some random change. Momo's [[ThePowerOfCreation creation]] costs less energy and gains ElementalShapeShifter aspects, Ochako's zero-gravity is fine tuned until it is telekinesis in function. This is most prominent in Mineta. Mineta's hair balls become exploding glue bombs that dangle from the fusion's hair, meaning they don't cause bleeding from overuse because they aren't plucked off the scalp.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Human Fusion it is the ultimate technique of Izuku's Quirk, the natural culmination of Izuku's fusion ability taken to its most logical extreme; in combination with One for All, the resulting fusions are powerful enough to curb-stomp the other members of Class 1-A easily. [[spoiler:Then there are multi-person fusions, which are so powerful they potentially rival ''All Might'' himself]]. While it takes Izuku himself a while to come to terms with it, everyone else can easily see that his Quirk is most likely the most powerful in all of Class 1-A.

* ThePowerOfTrust: It's implied that Izuku cannot forcibly fuse with someone. He can do it by accident, like he did with Katsuki the first time he used the technique, [[spoiler:and with Tsuyu, when he was Izoru and trying to protect her from Shigaraki]], but even then there was a degree of trust between him and the other person. Every other time he's fused with someone, he's had their explicit consent. As a result of that trust, however, the fusions are powerful, more so than any one student in Class 1-A.
* SuperpowerLottery: Thanks to enhanced variations of Quirks the fusions have, coupled with having immense strength thanks to One For All, they're all massive winners of this. [[spoiler:Even more so when it comes to triple fusions, which potentially rival ''All Might'', given that they can trade blows with Nomu.]]

* SuperPrototypes: A downplayed inversion. He is the first of Izuku's fusions and the only one whose quirk mutation has any inferior aspects to the original. i.e. his sweating more than Katsuki means he has lower stamina thanks to dehydration risk. All the other fusions have only ever had improvements.

The fusion of Izuku and Mina, which came to being during some extra training from All Might. Her Quirk Mutation is "Acid Control", which allows her to control the acidity and viscosity of her acid on-command after it's been fired.

* ChivalrousPervert: He's still half Mineta, so he still has... less then virtuous thoughts about his female classmates. But thanks to Izuku's morals, shyness, and heroic spirit, he can shove those thoughts away and keep them to himself, letting him focus on solving their current problem. When he does vocalize his perverted thoughts, he is very shy and respectful about it... well, as respectful as one can be about such a thing.

* PintSizedPowerHouse: As a Fusion between Mineta and Izuku, his height is a perfect median between the two, leaving him shorter then everyone in Class 1-A. He still has One For All, though, meaning he's capable of just as much power and strength as All Might.
* StickyBomb: It's literally the name of his Quirk Mutation. His orbs not only stick to the target, but explode and cover anything within its range in the same adhesive substance.

A semi-famous underground pro-hero and the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. Despite being a bit of a LazyBum, he is a notoriously strict teacher, but only because he knows the dangers of the hero industry and wishes to ensure his students are fully-prepared for that reality. His Quirk, "Erasure", allows him to nullify others' control over their Quirks just by looking at them. Blinking dispels the effect of his Quirk and using it gives him very dry eyes.

* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Thanks to all the mocking his Quirk net him, he has a hard time believing that he'll be a good hero, despite Katsuki's insistence to the contrary.

A student with a frog-like appearance thanks to her Quirk, "Frog". She actually doesn't fuse with Izuku alone, [[spoiler:instead becoming part of his first triple-fusion, along side Minoru Mineta.]]

* FireForgedFriends: [[spoiler:With Izuku ''and'' Minoru. After Tsuzuru de-fuses, she has no issue addressing both on a FirstNameBasis]].

* VitriolicBestBuds: [[spoiler:With Minoru. He has no problems teasing her about her crush on Ochako, and she smacks him like an older sister would with their younger brother]].

* PersonOfMassDestruction: Arguably all of the Fusions are this, given that they all have One For All, but Katzuchako takes it [[UpToEleven Up to Eleven]] with his mutation. Buy putting his fingertips onto an object, he can charge it up with explosive energy, turn it into a bomb, which he can then throw using his [[GravityMaster Gravity Control]], turning them into high-speed missiles. As of right now, we have no indication what the maximum size of an object he can turn into a bomb is, or even if there ''is'' a limitation.

* SuperpowerLottery: Material Fusion on its own is a decently powerful ability, but it's Human Fusion that takes the cake. With it and One for All at his disposal, there is theoretically no limit to how powerful Izuku can become, because with his ability to merge with different people, he can literally do ''anything''.

* AdaptationalBadass: Combining his Fusion Quirk with One For All allows him to use watered down 100% Smash attacks without damaging his body, while his canon self can only use 20% at max.

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: He's this to the point where it's a serious problem, and it's something that Ochako and Katsuki are constantly trying to beat out of him with how needlessly self-sacrificing and reckless he is. All-Might also criticizes this attitude, such as when Izuku took on all of the damage Izuchako took to spare Ochako. According to All-Might, if it had been a real battle, Ochako would've been left defending the helpless Izuku rather than both of them being injured but still combat ready.

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: He's this to the point where it's a serious problem, and it's something that Ochako and Katsuki are constantly trying to beat out of him with how needlessly self-sacrificing and reckless he is.

* SecretKeeper: She becomes aware of All Might's secret after fusing with Izuku, but she promises to keep it a secret.

* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Izuku's fusions (and by extension, Izuku himself) are this to him. Even if he were using his left side, there's very little Shoto can do by himself to match, let alone ''surpass'', Izuku's fusions, especially with One for All at their disposal. This unexpected humbling leaves a bitter taste in his mouth that he has yet to wash out.
