* MeaningfulName: ''ʻAkano'' means "matter" (as in substance) in Hawaiian. Note that the apostrophe is not a typo (see SpellMyNameWithAnS below).

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: The little apostrophe in front of Akano's name is a proper Hawaiian letter called [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ʻOkina ʻokina]] (itself having the letter in it) and represents a glottal stop. Now she has a lengthened top that covers most of her torso while still leaving a little bit of midriff showing, and her skirt has been lengthened, plus she now wears a pair of pants beneath them for good measure.

* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Played with like Coco in the same game. She is conveyed as ImmuneToSlapstick in cutscenes and has barely any comedic sore spots, but does the same slapstick deaths as everyone else in actual gameplay. [[spoiler:Deconstructed in the climax with the Tropy duo, where she suffers a CurbstompBattle, though this is still among very few injuries in the series that is blatantly NOT PlayedForLaughs.]]

She's seen playing a two-player one with Coco, and two of the ending pictures have her owning a UsefulNotes/NintendoSwitch-like handheld console as well as cheering on "Kickass Coco" with her friends ([[MyFriendsAndZoidberg and Cortex]]) at a major E-Sports event.
