Riona faces cyberbullying for being a banshee who's believed to only bring bad luck, while Lucas's satyr race is stereotyped as reckless party animals. This is why he wants to apologize to her for accidentally hurting her feelings in his misguided attempt to help her overcome her anxiety in becoming an opera singer amidst the racism.
