It's subverted; as one of Joyous' sons, his purpose is to tempt mortals and deities by stroking their egos and corrupting their perception of reality to see if they'll resist his influence.

* ApocalypseHow: Like his mother, is capable of ending whole worlds and potentially entire cosmos if given the chance. Unlike his mother, he actually wants to go through with it (though just not this universe/multiverse).
* TheAssimilator: UpToEleven. Solus' all-consuming desires and ego is so insatiable he simply doesn't just want to conquer, corrupt and consume everyone and everything - he wants to effectively BECOME everyone and everything. Or rather, becoming powerful enough to devour entire realities and literally everyone and everything in it becomes part of and an extension of his infinite will, being and power and existing solely for his ego and pleasure for all eternity. Justified in that he is described as an embodiment of his mother's aspect as a depraved and demonic temptress who corrupts and condemns those who gave into lust, and it's implied he is so ravenous in his desires not even having his way with entire worlds is enough to sate it.

* RealityWarper: Implied. As a god of Reality, he can change reality itself to fit his own interests.

Despite his potentially apocalyptic desires in desiring to consume, assimilate and become whole universes, he is smart enough to realize trying to eat and make everyone and everything part of him is a recipe for self-destruction (since everyone would object being eaten and becoming his adorers and playthings for all eternity) and pursues other ways to achieve his goal without sacrificing this existence.

* MeaningfulName: Solus means ‘Self’ and Supremus means ‘Supreme’ in Latin. Given he is a solipsistic being with all-consuming ego and desires who literally want to assimilate and become an infinite universal/multiversal being, it seems rather appropriate.
