Unlike the other protagonists, Emi Sendou is not a Vanguard Fighter herself and instead fights against actual Vanguard units. However she does have a vast collection of cards which she summons to fight against Jammers. She does however try out a Gear Chronicle Deck, but is unable to use it properly due to not knowing the rules of game itself.
