* TokenGoodTeammate / TokenEvilTeammate: The player is allowed to be diametrically opposed to their faction's general philosophy, working [[TheSocialDarwinist with people that believe the weak must be exterminated]] while assisting helpless passersby or vice versa.

* GoodIsNotNice: Generally speaking, Light tribes are all for harmony, peaceful coexistence, and preservation of life and nature. They are ''not'', however, helpless or completely pacifistic, and if pushed to war, they can and will defend themselves, ''then'' fight back.

* AmnesiacHero: The Player Character has lost their memory some time before the start of the game, with the other tribes filling in their mysterious destiny as the biological of the original Wung-Fu ''sifu'', their mother.
* CharacterCustomization: Right from the starting gate, the player gets several angles to customize their mutant:
** "Breed" is the base model of your physical appearance alongside your starting stats. You can further affect both by fine-tuning the distribution, like how high Strength will lead to your character being buffer and larger, Charisma will make them look friendlier, and high Intellect will, quite literally, give them a big head as their brain gets larger.
** "Class" is their starting combat specialization and equipment plus some exclusive perks.
** "Elemental Resistances" lets you give them an inherent resistance of up to 25% to the four environmental hazards.
** "Fur Pattern and Color" is self-explanatory.
* DoomedHometown: Their childhood village and the place where Wung-Fu was created is nothing but razed ruins at the present.
* EyepatchOfPower: They can have one and most promotional material gives them one.
* MagneticHero: With sufficient Charisma, the player character can convince characters to change their entire life philosophies and their allegiance to their tribes.

The six main factions of the game, they are composed of 6 of the original disciples of the creator of Wung-Fu. After her tragic death, they split ways and started their own schools, developing unique weapon styles and accompanying life philosophies.

[[folder:In General]]
* DefeatMeansFriendship: Some ''sifu'' believe that coexistence with the other tribes is possible, you only need to convince them it's better to stand together through diplomacy--''or'' take their strategic territories by force and beat them into submission, whichever works.
* GangOfHats: Each of them has some sort of uniform or fashion style that easily differentiates them from the other tribes at a distance. For example, members of Myriad always wear yellow turbans. Their ''sifu'' are all also creators of a form of Wung-Fu using a specific weapon, though the rank-and-file aren't afraid to get as pragmatic as you are, bringing assault rifles to a knife fight.
* WeaponOfChoice: Each tribe has one unique weapon and accompanying style of Wung-Fu. The player can learn them immediately by allying with them or subduing/wiping them out.
