** Nagisa/Kayano: They have the most visible interaction among the student pairings, while Kayano is implied to have a crush on Nagisa. [[spoiler:Then there's the CooldownKiss between them, and while their status as of the epilogue remains ambiguous, Kayano's body language implies that she may be pregnant, even as she tries to deflect Hara's questions about her and Nagisa.]]

Formerly [[spoiler:the original "Reaper", the greatest assassin in his time]], he slowly acclimated to the responsibilities of a teacher and to empathy itself, [[spoiler:only recently instilled in him by Aguri Yukimura, a gentle young teacher assigned to observe him during his confinement]].
