Added DiffLines:

* FatBastard: Significantly more pudgy than the typical SHIELD agent, and he eventually turns out to be completely psychotic.
* FrameUp: Eric blames him for all of Eric's own misdeeds with the G.I. Ant-Man suit, and since Mitch has shown himself to be a lunatic, it's believed.
* HiddenDisdainReveal: When he has Eric at his mercy, he tells him in no uncertain terms that they are ''not'' friends -- he was friends with Eric's buddy, and then Eric got him killed.
* ItsPersonal: He never liked Eric to begin with, but Eric burning off half his face made Mitch ''very'' determined to get some payback.
* ThePoorlyChosenOne: Given his murderous and delusional psychosis, it's a pretty good thing he didn't end up getting the suit.
* SympatheticInspectorAntagonist: Initially looks like one, going up against Eric, but come the final issue of ''Irredeemable Ant-Man'' it's blown out of the water.
* UpgradeVersusPrototypeFight: Attacks Eric in the prototype version of the Ant-Man suit, with his training giving him an advantage of Eric, who has no clue what he's doing.

Added DiffLines:

* DeathByOriginStory: For Hank, and then several decades later for Nadia.

Added DiffLines:

* RedHerring: A few times over the years it's seemed like Maria might turn out to be alive in some form or another, but every time it's turned out that nope, she is quite certifiably dead as it gets.
