Whether she was actually Sarah and her story about being saved and put in SuspendedAnimation by the Orphans of X was true, or if she was actually an advanced clone or LMD as Daken muses, was initially left ambiguous. However by the end of the arc it's confirmed that "Sarah" was a clone.

* SuspendedAnimation: When Hank [=McCoy=] notes Sarah has the biological processes of a younger woman than her expected age[[note]]as much as seven years have passed since ''Comicbook/InnocenceLost''[[/note]] she responds that the means by which her "rescuers" stored her effectively did this. The discrepancy was actually because she was a clone all along.

* DramaticIrony: What to avenge his parent murder, he is unaware that X-23 only kill his parents because his biological father order her to kill them to gain total control of the project, and covering up his affair with Rachel.

* VillainousBSOD: Henry begins to lose it when Laura doesn't play into what he wanted, and ''{{talk|ingTheMonsterToDeath}}s'' to them rather than attacking. He only unravels further when she reveals the truth about her past, and that Henry withheld her torturous upbringing at the hands of (both) his fathers from the rest of the Orphans.
* YouKilledMyFather: Henry is driven by Laura's killing of his father and mother.

* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler: Laura is able to convince them that the real enemies are the ones who deserve their hate are those who paid the facility to have her kill them, while revealing how she was tortured as a child. She even joins them in the end]].

Following his death, Laura took up his mantle to become the Wolverine herself.

* ApologeticAttacker: [[spoiler: After Daylesville is doused in trigger scent, but before she falls into a murderous rage, Laura apologizes to the locals around her for what is about to happen.]]

** Is prepared to kill herself to prevent Kimura from using her as a weapon. However Kimura forces her hand by revealing she's located Megan and Debbie, and will kill them if she doesn't cooperate.
** As noted under Determinator, in issue 21 Laura nearly kills herself trying to save as many of the infected people of Roosevelt Island as she can, pushing herself until her healing factor simply gives out from the strain of fighting the virus.
** In "Old Woman Laura," Laura intends to do just that, going down to rescue her sister, and take Doom with her. [[spoiler:Ultimately subverted, as Gabby browbeats her into living and finding a fix for her CloneDegeneration at the end.]]

* PosthumousCharacter: Appears several times via flashbacks. Usually something connected to the current story, such as the PassingTheTorch moment above.

* WhereDoesHeGetAllThoseWonderfulToys: To date, the Sisters have employed an MQ-1B Predator drone, body armor, serious firepower, and even an ''armored truck''. Laura asks where it all comes from, but when Gabby starts to explain Bellona shuts her down as she still doesn't trust Laura.

* HairTriggerTemper: Zelda describes Bellona to Laura as "not exactly restrained," when Bellonna decides to just shoot her when she comes to talk. Of all the Sisters she's the most aggressive and quickest to violence.

The son of Wolverine, and Laura's older "brother." A notorious ManipulativeBastard and {{Sociopath}}, Laura and Daken have nonetheless forged a surprisingly affectionate sibling relationship. He arrives on Roosevelt Island courtesy of Doctor Strange to help contain the virus ravaging the population.

* [[FanBoy Fan Girl]]: Of superheroes in general. Tries to play it cool at first, but gets really excited about her team up with Laura once the latter compliments her, causing her to have them take a selfie.

The Spider-Woman of Earth-65 finds herself crossing paths with Wolverine, when she's unceremoniously zapped not only into Laura's apartment, but into ''[[FreakyFridayFlip Laura's body]]''. The two women must work together to determine who has done this to them and why, and reverse it before their consciousnesses are forcibly returned to their own dimensions and lost forever.

* GlowingEyesOfDoom: [[spoiler:The Orphans of X take direct control of her in issue 27 to address Laura and her family. When they do, her eyes turn solid green and begin to glow.]]

* NotInThisForYourRevolution: When Daken arrives on Roosevelt Island, he makes it clear he doesn't really give a toss about the people of Roosevelt Island. The only reason he's there [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming is because Laura needs him]].

* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Dramatically points at Laura when she calls her out to help locate a missing squirrel. It becomes a CrowningMomentOfFunny when she holds it out for a couple panels and Laura just stares at her in bewildered silence.

* UnexpectedCharacter: Jan's appearance in ''All-New Wolverine'' came as a shock when announced in solicits not only because she's never had anything to do with Laura before, but because she's been ''missing altogether'' from the books since ''Comicbook/{{Secret Wars|2015}}''. She ''did'' appear in the ''Rage of Ultron'' graphic novel and the [[ComicBook/AstonishingAntMan Ant-Man]] annual, however those books were published before ''Secret Wars'' and take place after but it's unclear where these two books fit on the timeline.

* BaldOfAwesome: Maria Hill, Chairwoman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to [[Comicbook/MsMarvel 2014 President Kamala Khan]], sports a tight buzz cut in the alternate future setting of "Old Woman Laura." Her BadAss bonifides are already well-established.

* SeeingThroughAnothersEyes: The Orphans of X are able to view what's happening around Sarah through her eyes. The exact mechanism (cybernetic implant, hidden camera, etc.) is unclear.]]

* TheMole: It's unclear whether or not she's an UnwittingMole, but Sarah is being used by the Orphans of X to spy on Laura, and gather information about the Muramasa Blade.
* PeoplePuppets: [[spoiler:The Orphans of X are able to take control of Sarah directly, and even speak through her. However most of Sarah's actions appear to be her own, as he eyes turn [[GlowingEyesOfDoom a bright, glowing green]] when she's under their active control.

* AlternateUniverse: She had one in Old Man Logan's home reality. Logan knew she wasn't telling Laura about [[spoiler: her powers, because the Gabby of ''his'' reality had them. All that's known is that she killed and was killed by the Laura of Old Man Logan's universe, and based on Logan's reaction to seeing her grave, she was likely the Heel of the fight]].

* BerserkButton: Do ''not'' hurt Jonathan. Gabby will ''end you''.

* ChildrenAreInnocent: Gabby is the youngest of the Sisters, and Zelda and Bellona have taken great pains to protect her from the worst of what Alchemax did to them. Dr. Strange even sees that she is an innocent when he looks at her through the Eye of Agamotto, and Zelda calls her what she and Bellona ''should'' have been.

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Quite frequently, in keeping with her mild CloudCuckoolander tendencies. For example when she and Deadpool discover what the lab where Jonathan escaped was doing, she's ''horrified''...to discover that they've made zombies ''cute''![[note]]The lab created a ZombieApocalypse of rabbits, squirrels, and [[CrowningMomentOfFunny sloths]].[[/note]] Most people would have stopped at the fact they made ''zombies''.

* CoolMask: Starts wearing a mask again, this time with red goggles with her new costume in issue 19

* IntergenerationalFriendship: Gabby immediately strikes one up with Deadpool, of all people, in issue 21. Laura is less than pleased.

* MamaBear: Do ''not'' hurt Jonathan. She will ''end'' you.

* MoodWhiplash: Gabby can shift from [[spoiler: threatening Chandler with a claw one second]], to cheerfully running off with a casual "Bye!" the next. She does it to Logan, too.

* TagalongKid: Gabby is this to the rest of her clones, since she's the most innocent and naive.

** In "Old Woman Laura," alt-future Gabby had kids, and named them Logan and Wade.

* DeadGuyJunior: 807128!Gabby's middle name was Zelda, in apparent honor of her slain elder sister. It's unclear if 616!Gabby uses the same name, but the precedent on AlternateUniverse versions makes it probable.

Created by a top-secret project attempting to restart the Weapon X experiments, Lauhttp://tvtropes.org/#ra is the genetic clone of Comicbook/{{Wolverine}} created and carried to term by Dr. Sarah Kinney. Tortured, abused, and raised to be the ultimate assassin, Sarah liberated the young X-23 at the cost of her own life, and since then Laura has sought meaning in her life other than being a weapon. Wolverine eventually found her brought her to the X-Men where she began to heal, where he became a father figure and mentor to her, before eventually legally adopting her.

* AnimalTesting: Jonathan was a victim of it, and was rescued from the lab he was kept in by Squirrel Girl. Part of why Laura agreed to let Gabby keep him (despite the fact that, as Logan points out, wolverines don't exactly make for great pets) is because of how close to home that resonates. Exactly ''what'' sort of experiments were done to him is unclear, but in issue 10 he all but shrugs off a gunshot.

* MadeOfIron: A burglar ''shoots him'', and while Jonathan is certainly stunned, he still gets back up again none the worse for wear. How much of this is a result of the experimentation he was subject to, and how much is simply because he's a ''wolverine'' (which are legendary for their toughness) is unclear.

* TeamPet: He becomes this for Gabby in particular. Being a wolverine he's rather bad-tempered one, and snarls, growls, or hisses at pretty much everyone who isn't Laura or Gabby. He's also ''violently'' protective of Gabby, willing to charge a pair of armed burglars head on when they break into the apartment.

* AdorablyPrecociousChild: She's 13, [[spoiler: a mutant with a HealingFactor and WolverineClaws]], trained to be a killer, and is ridiculously intelligent and very adult in how she reacts to the world. And then she turns around and gushes about making a costume for her pet wolverine both to protect his identity ''and'' because it's adorable. She also does her hair in barrettes, and wears mismatched TightsUnderShorts and big, chunky pink tennis shoes.
* {{Adorkable}}: After Laura tells Bellona she won't kill the Alchemax goons because they might have families, Bellona snarks about cutting off one of the soldier's fingers because he might play piano. Gabby gathers them up so he can have them reattached later ''just in case it's actually true''. Her enormous grin when she reveals the Sisters were all wearing armor after being shot by Taskmaster also counts.

* AmbiguouslyGay: Or AmbiguouslyBi: When Jean is setting up a psyching bond with her team before a mission in X-Men Red, Gabby warns her not to do anything with the feelings she had for a girl she saw on a bus, because she hasn't fully explored them yet.
* AudibleSharpness: [[spoiler: Her claws make the same ''snikt'' sound as Laura's. Strangely enough, it does this even though they're bone, in which case the {{Onomatopoeia}} is traditionally ''schlikt'' instead.]]

* BadassAdorable: Gabby is a positively ''adorable'' little killing machine, with her mismatched tights, girlish barrettes, and bright pink sneakers. She's also a trained killer who carries a MAC-10, and is skilled enough that even ''Laura'' found it difficult to track her. And that's before she reveals that [[spoiler: she has bone claws]].

* BigSisterWorship: Gabby shows ''a lot'' of this towards Laura. She outright admits to Chandler how much she admires her, and a big part of wanting her to be a good person comes from Laura's example. She even describes her as "that perfect woman" to Old Man Logan during their volley of IfYouEverDoAnythingToHurtHer.
* BrutalHonesty: Is perfectly content to tell people exactly what's on her mind, or what she thinks of them. Unlike Laura, who was this because she had NoSocialSkills because of her upbringing, in Gabby's case it owes a lot more to her youth.
* CheerfulChild: As noted under ThePollyanna, there's so far been nothing that can permanently dent in her friendly disposition and sunny demeanor. It starts getting creepy when she can threaten severe bodily harm to someone, then immediately switches right back to "cute" and runs off with a cheerful "Bye!"

* CivvieSpandex: Her most recent costume is a hoodie mocked up to look like the classic gold-and-blue Wolverine cowl.

* CloudCuckoolander: A subdued example, but Gabby nonetheless admits she often has a lot of bizarre thoughts. [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming She becomes instant best friends with Deadpool]] as a result.

* CoolGuns: Gabby carries a MAC-10.

* DeadpanSnarker: There's very little of her dialogue that isn't this. She snarks at nearly ''everything''. When she meets a one-eyed pirate who mentions ''metaphorically'' seeing things differently, Gabby immediately makes a quip about her lack of depth perception.

* FreakinessShame: Notably ''averted''. Gabby's face is scarred as a result of her upbringing with Alchemax, but she's completely nonchalant about them. It becomes a CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming in issue 21 when she's not bothered in the least by Deadpool's appearance, and the two even bond over their appearances.

* HairDecorations: Gabby has her hair done with barrettes, which helps make her look even ''younger''.
* HealingFactor: [[spoiler: Unlike her other sisters, Gabby ''did'' develop one. Fortunately, because it allows her to survive after Logan blindly impales her on his claws in a feral rage. How it's affected by the nanomachines in her bloodyet to be revealed. WordOfGod indicates she still has her scars because they were there before it activated.]]

* InnocentlyInsensitive: Gabby is prone to making very up-front and honest observations about the people and things around her. However unlike Laura, who was this earlier in her life because of her lack of socialization, in Gabby's case it owes a lot to her youth.

* JuniorCounterpart: Becomes one to Laura after Alchemax Genetics is taken down, and she becomes ''her'' younger sidekick.
* KillerRabbit: She's tiny, cute, often naive, remarkably upbeat considering her situation, and genuinely wants to be a good person. She's also packing heat ([[spoiler: and ''[[WolverineClaws claws]]'']]), and is highly-trained as a killer and assassin

* LittleMissBadass: Tiny, cute, girlish, and adorable killing machine.
* LittleMissSnarker: Gabby has SarcasmMode as practically her default setting. She snarks at almost ''everything''.

* MouthyKid: She's a DeadpanSnarker with no brain-mouth filter. Unlike Laura at her age it's not a result of NoSocialSkills, she's simply an AdorablyPrecociousChild who says what's on her mind.
* OneHeadTaller: Gabby is ''tiny'', at ''best'' not quite half a head shorter than even Laura, who is noted at 5'1" by series artist David Lopez.
* PintSizedKid: Gabby is the youngest of the Sisters, and is also the shortest, being BARELY half a head shorter than Laura. Whom Lopez notes as being ''5'1"''!
* ThePollyanna: Lampshaded by Laura in issue 13 that pretty much ''nothing'' can permanently darken her sunny disposition. It actually becomes rather disturbing the way she can threaten serious bodily harm to Chandler and [[spoiler: Old Man Logan]], yet slip right back into a friendly demeanor with a casual "Bye!"

* ScarsAreForever: Gabby's facial scars didn't heal even after her healing factor activated. WordOfGod is that it's because she had them before they manifested.

* TeensAreShort: She's thirteen years old and even ''shorter'' than Laura, who is only 5'1" (and herself fulfills this trope). According to Laura, she's 4'6".
* TightsUnderShorts: Gabby's first outfit consists of what looks to be shorts worn over a pair of mismatched tights, and bright pink tennis shoes.

* TomboyWithAGirlyStreak: Gabby is a trained killer equipped with body armor...which she decorates with flowers and hearts.
