* PiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Her job is [Assassin], but she's a kind and loyal maid to Marianne. She has no on-screen wet work to her name.

* MySisterIsOffLimits: She's perfectly okay with Marianne hitting on Toru, Toru and Marianne working and playing together, up to and including adventuring in ruins, but she's firmly of the opinion that Toru better mind his p's and q's and be on his best behavior at all times, or she might just decide to "discipline" him with her [Assassin] skills.

* InnocentCohabitation: As part of his party's "Heroes of Armand" title, he's awarded a rent-free tree-house as a party base. He and his HerosSlaveHarem all live under one roof, and while he's very, very interested in the ladies, sexually, he keeps it in his pants.

* AdaptationalSympathy: In the manga version of events, he doesn't leave Nei behind willingly. The attacking demons crippled him, leaving him unable to fight, and he was carried off by Soara and Lisa.

* OverprotectiveDad: When Marianne asked for permission to investigate the ruins beneath his town that the 6th general of the demon lord was using as a staging point, he has her decked out in head to toe plate-mail with a helmet that has tiny visors. While Toru appreciates the gesture, he points out how impractical such an outfit would be in the narrow ruin corridors, so she comes back with a more fitting chain jerkin.

* EnlightenedSelfInterest: Allowing Toru to put the Elixir on sale at the auction house was an excellent way to gather the attention of nobles and other big spenders that his auction house is a place where some really, really exotic stuff can be found.
* HonestCorporateExecutive: He runs his businesses and the auction house fairly.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He allows Toru to auction off a bottle of Elixir, last minute, during the final bid of the auction, and pay for Frau's purchase price from the proceeds. Toru had more than enough for the purchase of the fairy regardless, but it was a welcome concession.

Chapter 9 of the manga has him strangle Soara ''in public'' to vent his frustrations at arriving at a dungeon only to learn some other unnamed party has already cleared it and left the area. The only reason Soara lived to tell about it is that he noticed he was in public and, at the time, was more concerned about his reputation than his immediate gratification.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Since the king ordered him to capture innocent elves for sexual slavery, which could have greatly hampered the ability to fight the demon king's forces, if not start an ill-advised war, purely for hedonistic reasons, killing the king is not unwarranted.

* WolfInSheepsClothing: She is introduced always being at a level near Sain's, which is nothing compared to Toru when he awakens and goes over level 300. In reality, she's ''actually even higher than that'', and gave Toru a tough fight when she stopped pretending.

* DemonOfHumanOrigin: According to the other wiki, when she was a child, the demons came to her home village, killing her parents and took her away, after converting her to their new "Demon King," they left her somewhere she could be easily found and "rescued." The other wiki states she ''enjoyed'' the experience, especially her parents' SenselessSacrifice, dying trying to protect her.

* MadeASlave: When Sain thought she was holding him back by reaching her limit, he sold her into slavery.

* GreenEyedMonser: Which she tearfully admits. She's jealous of Kaede because the fox-girl gets to go with Toru on adventures and explore the world, while she's stuck at home in a GildedCage.
