A researcher who traveled to Africa to investigate an ancient temple hidden deep in a rainforest. At some point during her stay, she gets killed by her Guerilla security force; however, her mind continues to exist in virtual reality, where she waits for someone to come to her aid.
----

* BrainUploading: Her mind and consciousness have both survived from the incineration of her body by the Guerillas, and she continues to exist in the virtual world. However, she's trapped in an isolated computer, away from the temple itself, and needs someone to carry her over to the temple so she can continue her research.
* DamselInDistress: Not that she's ready to admit to it, but she has been trapped in an isolated computer for quite a while since her body has been torched by the Guerillas. Geoffrey manages to come to her aid later on, once he manages to procure a firewall chip.
* DeadAllAlong: Her physical body has been disposed of by Guerillas, but her mind continues to exist in VR.
* DeadpanSnarker: She tends to snark about her predicament, much to Geoffrey's amusement.
* SoleSurvivingScientist: In a way, she's alive in virtual reality, but not in the real world. She finds this an inconvenience, as she cannot move from terminal to terminal unless someone else transfers her between computers.

The Allied Military Complex may be a powerful paramilitary organization, but they cannot solve every issue on their own. To handle their operations better, they need allies, people and organizations they can rely on to defeat any hostiles looming over the horizon. To this end, the Earth Defense Force has granted the AMC Squad carte blanche on their operations if it means forming new alliances with different individuals or factions.

The AMC Squad's efforts in combating growing threats have caught the attention of several different factions, many of which share some of the same interests as the Complex has.

The following organizations have their own pages:

!!Earth Attack Force

The Earth Defense Force's offense-oriented counterpart organization, the Earth Attack Force was founded in France by Colonel George W. Bernard of the French Armed Forces in response to the EDF's struggle with the Cycloid threat. Many countries unhappy with the EDF's mandates, such as Australia, Japan, and Russia, have directed their funds to the EAF, instead, allowing the organization to grow to a size comparable with the EDF.
The Earth Attack Force's main goal is the gathering of information and researching of new technologies to form a more preemptive response to offworld threats. Their efforts into providing for this goal have been controversial, however, due to their strikes on targets being seen as damaging to interstellar political relations, plus a widely-seen stance that humankind cannot determine which alien race is hostile to Earth or not. Despite this, the EAF remains strong, and has funded the Allied Military Complex with weapons and experimental technology in order to combat hostile forces. EAF higher-ups have stated that a smaller, highly-advanced task force is better suited for pinpointing and taking out serious threats much more efficiently than a large organization like the EAF or the EDF; the EDF, however, is not so keen on their funding of the Complex, claiming that funding paramilitary organizations is a slippery slope.
----

* TheGhost: The EAF's soldiers don't appear in-game, likely because the EDF's own soldiers and the Complex's agents already fulfill that role.
* RedshirtArmy: They don't serve much purpose beyond getting killed in missions featuring them.

The captain of the prototype EAF airship that went missing in Spain. Kept a diary in his quarters, where he wrote down his thoughts on the situation he found himself in after the ship made a jump through hyperspace.
----

* ApocalypticLog: His diary, which contains his final entry before he killed himself.
* TheCaptain: Of the prototype EAF airship. He never did a good job at it, though.
* CoolGuns: His custom Longslide pistol, a nickel-plated [=M1911A1=], which he carried with him until his demise. Micky can pick it up from his corpse and equip it after he completes his mission, and comes with a LaserSight for more precise aiming.
* DirtyCoward: Despite being the ship's captain, he never had the nerve to fight off the demonic presence that possessed his ship. He's aware of this, and it contributed to his guilt over the situation and his fate.
* DrivenToSuicide: He shoots himself in the head before the events of "Ghost Ship," and his corpse can be found in his quarters by the bed, along with his custom Longslide pistol.
* ItsAllMyFault: He blamed himself for leading the ship into the mess it is right now, and hoped that his crew can forgive him for putting them and the whole ship in danger.
* MyGreatestFailure: He considered the jump through Hell the Abyss dimension as this, as it possessed the ship and tormented his crew until they were all dead.

!!Russian Rebels

When the ANaziByAnyOtherName Imperial Union staged a successful coup on Russia, many of its citizens were slaughtered in the streets and the rest were forced to bunker themselves in their own homes. Eventually, these surviving citizens, frustrated over the lack of response from their allies, took it upon themselves to fight back against the fascist state, in the hopes of saving their home from them. Their leadership consists of Highwire, then an EDF officer who went rogue in order to lead the rebellion, and Vladimir Lebedev, his second-in-command. So far, they only appear in the mission "The Revolution."
----

* InTheHood: They wear hooded jackets and balaclavas, possibly to conceal their identity from Imperial forces.
* LaResistance: They're fighting against the Union and its leader Vilmos for taking over and subsequently ruining Russia. Highwire leads several of the rebels against the Union's forces during his assault on the Union's palace, while James briefly assists them in a building adjacent to a Union outpost.
* MoreDakka: They use [=AK-103=] rifles as their WeaponOfChoice.
* RedshirtArmy: They don't have much in the way of military training or equipment, so they tend to die rather easily.
* ShoutOut: Their appearances resemble the Loners from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise, and they even quote a couple of lines from the games.
* ZergRush: They're plenty in numbers, but they lack formal military training, so they make up for this by swarming their enemies and flushing them out.

!!Vladimir Lebedev

-->Voiced by: ???

Highwire's second-in-command during the rebellion. Ever the courageous spirit, Vladimir leads the rebels while Highwire leaves to commandeer a cargo freighter in order to provide the rebels with supplies.
----

* TheLancer: He's Highwire's second-in-command and his most trusted ally in the rebellion. So much that if he dies, the mission is failed and Highwire gives up.
* MadeOfIron: He packs a lot of HP, so he cannot go down easily even when he's surrounded by Imperial forces.
* OneManArmy: Downplayed a fair bit, but he's capable of holding his own against Imperial footsoldiers with nothing but heavy armor and a machine gun.
* RebelLeader: Takes over this position when his friend Highwire leaves to steal EDF supplies for the rebels.
* WeCannotGoOnWithoutYou: Should Lebedev die, the mission is over. Although one would have to be particularly sadistic or curious to let the armored man get killed in combat.

!!Eva Lockwood

An unlucky witch who found herself trapped in Hell the Abyss after an experiment went awry. James can rescue her in the mission "Far Mountain Reaches" if he manages to find a way to the Abyss while topside.
----

* DamselInDistress: She's trapped in Hell the Abyss after an experiment with teleportation magic went sideways, and needs someone to save her from the demonic forces surrounding her. James can rescue her from the Abyss if he manages to find the place; in return, Eva can provide some research projects for the Complex regarding magic weaponry.
* TeleporterAccident: How she ended up in the Abyss and captured by the Overseer was that she was experimenting with teleportation magic.
