* Magneto as Erik in ''First Class'. Practically all of his scenes are awesome: the bank, the Argentina sequence, [[OneManArmy storming a Soviet military retreat by himself]], the satellite dish, the Sub lift, and more:
** When he uses a huge anchor and its chain as a weapon. The look on Charles' face is priceless, because it shows that even ''he'' hadn't anticipated just how much power a mutant could have.
*** Even more awesome for the audience, because we know that that's only a fraction of Magneto's full potential, as anyone who remembers [[spoiler: the scene where he lifts the entire Golden Gate Bridge]] in ''Film/XMenTheLastStand'' can attest.

** Erik [[spoiler: catching all those dozens of missiles mid-flight and sending them back despite the various distractions?]] Lifting the sub was a fantastic display of his raw power, but the level of control and precision he shows here proves just how dangerous he really is.
** And, finally - three simple words: "I prefer... Magneto".

** There's also the moment when Xavier is initially interviewed by the senior US military officers who initially scoff of his claims at being telepathic by taunting him expecting the usual cold reading fakery. When Xavier then responds by casually commenting about precise top secret missile location information he easily learned from their minds, their OhCrap reactions are priceless at being confronted with the real thing.

** And, finally - three simple words: "I prefer...Magneto".

**** Which, itself, [[AdaptationalWimp is only a fraction of what he can do in the comics.]]

** Very much a YMMV thing, but to this Troper, Magneto's response to Xavier's "they're just following orders" line was probably one of the most awesome moments in the movie, and perfectly defines Magneto's character.

** And, finally - three simple words: "I prefer...Magneto". Seeing Erik in the iconic cape and helmet, you can actually hear any disappointment the third film inspired vanish into thin air.
* Shaw gets one early on, when he demonstrates his power to Colonel Hendry, by taking a grenade which the good Colonel brought along in case of a double-cross, pulling the pin, and absorbing the explosion.

--> (''He taps Colonel Hendry on the shoulder, vaporising him almost instantly.'')

* The circumstance is horrific but Charles holding Shaw still the whole time the coin goes through the latter's skull. He experiences the pain ''and'' the death but doesn't let Shaw loose until the very end because Shaw could kill Erik with the nuclear energy he absorbs earlier.

* [[CallBack" I'm going to count to three,]] [[CruelAndUnusualDeath and then I'm going to move the coin."]] Chillingly badass.

* Xavier using Cerebro for the first time, and the "recruitment" sequence that follows.

** When he moves the massive satellite dish from miles away.
** The Sub Lift]scene. Or as I like to say, the moment Magneto turns to [[StarWars Master Yoda]] and says "How do you like me now?!". It's also the moment he reminds anyone who's read the comics or seen the other films just how strong he'll be later.
** Shaw's death at Erik's hands. "I'm going to count to three, and then I'm going to move the coin."

* Emma Frost beating Erik without any effort the first time they meet.

* The speech the Russian general gives about how he's already lived through one war and desperately hopes that they won't be forced into a new one. It just shows how some humans aren't all evil and the Russians and Americans [[NotSoDifferent aren't so different]].

* Though hardly the most awesome thing Magneto does, this troper loves creative use of powers and thought Erik magnetizing himself to the bottom of the plane to keep Charles from falling out was pretty damn clever.
