No other mortal being on Middle Earth can claim to have razed not one, but TWO of the most powerful kingdoms in the world in a matter of hours. Sauron himself needed a huge army and years of planning to even attempt to overthrow Gondor; Smaug ''the Magnificent'' requires no petty minions or intricate plans; he is a force of nature unto himself.
