In Sly 4 they run from you, put up barriers and refuse to actively combat you (sans Penelope and Le Paradox after catching him). They've possibly heard of the Cooper clan reputation for kicking butt, thus surrounded you wity hazards to keep you away.
** You have to instead overcome obstacles and sequences to temporarily knock them before you can start landing blows. The bad guys are running from the gang now! They're clearly powerful fighters, but keep thier distance.
** Despite the danger that keeps players on thier feet, this also grants players a feel of control, being the chaser, something long time players have earned after being chased for years by practically everyone who moves.
** Sly using his cane like a swordsman against Le Paradox! Remember Panda King: "Your skill with that can is unparalleled...", well there's no doubt here. Sly battles with Le Paradox with skill we've never seen before.

Sure, he's a [[LargeHam bombastic]], showboating goof of a [[LeeroyJenkins Leeroy]], but you have to admit, the guy is pretty awesome. He just, has a hard time dialing it down. Seriously, even after seeing the enormous firepower that the Black Knight has at his disposal, Galleth still doesn't give up, and takes on an entire army of the Knight's robotic guards singlehandedly! His plan to take out the Black Knight's surveillance blimps is another good example of how awesome he is (also doubles as a [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments CMOF]]). Simple, yet effective:
