* Lawrence's wife Alison [[MamaBear turning the tables on her kidnapper, Zep, to save both herself and her daughter, untying and ungagging herself, fighting off a grown man and holding him at gunpoint.]] And then there's the fact that they're among the only characters who are still alive by the end of the series.
* Adam revealing himself to be alive, and subsequently bashing in Zep's head. TheReveal made it an "[[FunnyAneurysmMoment Awesome Aneurysm Moment]]" so to speak, but then the reveal was awesome in its own way.

And '''all''' of those schemes end up being ''successful'', even staying in motion long after his death until some time before the events of ''Jigsaw''. ** The whole making of this movie, really. James Wan basically had to shoot the movie on the fly, with maybe two takes per line and having to scrap sequences he had planned and improvise multiple scenes on the day of the shoot when he found he couldn't get what he wanted. And he still managed to direct a film that took the world by storm, thanks in part to his ingenuity and Leigh Whannel's script delivering a compelling story. They did good.
** Shawnee Smith was actually very sick from flu when her scenes were filmed. [[{{Determinator}} She did it anyways]] and it makes Amanda's fear and discomfort all the more believable.
