** This is more awesome than the above makes it sound. Unlike in the first anime, where the Tuxedo Mask costume seems to be a transformation with powers, Act 7 pretty soundly implies that this Tuxedo Mask is just a man in a tux and cape. Meaning that Mamoru went up to Zoisite and decked him in the face with nothing more than his natural strength and desire to protect Usagi.

** And then we have the EarlyBirdCameo implying Zoisite got off easy. Why? Because the ones doing the cameo are [[spoiler: ''Sailor V and Artemis'']], and we all know what happened in the manga when [[spoiler: they]] showed up in person.

** Then we see that Usagi's speech successfully knocked Makoto out of her despair coma. Makoto judo throws the youma holding her hostage back at Nephrite and ''then'' transforms for the first time and uses a Flower Hurricane that threatens to shred Nephrite if he twitches. Then she [[ShockAndAwe pulls out her second spell.]]

* Immediately after the above, when Nephrite is driven back, he doesn't flee but sticks around to observe/threaten. Then, he is immediately joined by ''all four Shittennou'', including Jadeite who was dead by now in the manga. For the first time the senshi and the Dark Kingdom stare down their enemies, and [[CerebusSyndrome it is possible that things]] are [[LetsGetDangerous about to get serious.]]
