* The Rangers try to ambush Rita...and she completely cleans their clocks in about ten seconds. Granted, they weren't morphed but still had super-strength and outnumbered her yet Rita doesn't even make beating them look difficult.

* Rita has the team tied up in magical bonds on the side of a ship. He mocks Jason for his bad leadership and he replies by ''head-butting'' her. Rita just laughs it off but points to Jason for the nice try.

* The cast stating that if a Green Ranger is added to their team, they want them to be a female.

* The credits acknowledge not only the classic Saban show but Super Sentai equally, even though it uses no Japanese footage. It's one of the few times in the franchise's history that it recognizes its Japanese roots.

** On a similar note seeing him onscreen with Creator/AmyJoJohnson for the first time in quite a while.

* That moment, that ''glorious'' moment, when the Rangers take their Zords into action to the full musical chorus of "Go, Go, Power Rangers!"

* The credits acknowledge not only the classic Saban show but Super Sentai equally. It's one of the few times in the franchise's history that it recognizes its Japanese roots.

* The diversity of the film as a whole. This is one of the few movies to have a majority of the cast/characters be non-white. Of the five heroes, only Jason is white. Going by the actor's ethnicities, Kimberly is Indian-Caucasian. Zack is Chinese-Caucasian. Trini is Latina. And Billy is African-American.

* Similarly, Billy is explicitly stated to be autistic, yet the movie doesn't make any kind of big deal about this and he's an equal hero with the rest of the team. With all the other groups getting demands for increased representation in entertainment, the neuro-atypical got pretty lost in the shuffle, but then this film comes out of nowhere with a great example of how to do it.

* Trini is the first LGBT superhero to be on the big screen, beating out [[Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse Marvel]] and [[Film/DCExtendedUniverse DC]]! While an argument could be made for Deadpool since Creator/RyanReynolds has stated that the character is still pansexual in the [[{{Film/Deadpool}} movie]], he only shows interest in his girlfriend.

** Even better, they chose to use the more bombastic version of the theme from the original 1995 movie.

** This doubles as a crowning moment of heart-warming, because the whole story kicks off because Jason stands up to the bully and protects Billy. Billy probably never had many friends, certainly not with Jason Scott's social standing. So once Jason befriends him, Billy invites Jason to the quarry, where he used to go with his father, they find the Power Coins, and then go on to find Zordon and become Rangers. The ideals of friendship are a huge part of the franchise, and in the movie, Jason befriending Billy ends up saving the world.

* That moment, that ''glorious'' moment, when the Rangers take their zords into action to the full musical chorus of "Go, Go, Power Rangers!"
** It was the same song from the original '95 movie.
** Even better, it was from the opening theme of the original '93 series.

** This is made even better when Billy asks incredulously, "Jason, did you just ''slap'' her?"

* That moment, that ''glorious'' moment, when the Rangers take their Zords into action to the full musical chorus of "Go, Go, Power Rangers!"
* The Megazord coming together like a pissed god coming out of hell.
