Bonus Boss was renamed by TRS

* For the ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyRecordKeeper'' crossover event, the game has quests where you fight Heartless versions of '''''[[VideoGame/FinalFantasyV Gilgamesh]]''''' and '''''[[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI God of Magic Kefka]]''''', the closest thing we have so far to having the two as [[{{BonusBoss}} Bonus Bosses]] in the franchise! They even come with their corresponding themes, and their designs are very accurate to their designs. The Kefka-themed Heartless, Mysterious Sir, even comes with Gummi Copter-like Heartless clearly meant to be the Warring Triad. (A spiky red one representing Demon, a gray horned one representing Fiend, and a blue one with a halo and tentacles representing Goddess.)

* A meta example, but the finale in general has been mostly very well received by the fanbase, in contrast to the [[BrokenBase divisive]] [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII finale to the Dark Seeker Saga.]] The twists, turns, and overall conclusion of the Chi/Union Cross Saga has been able to reignite the passion & excitement for the story and the franchise going forward.

* A villanous example, but in ''Dark Road'', when Xehanort is talking with the Master of Masters, the young Keyblade Master manifests doubt about the MoM's claim about having been one himself... to which the Master reacts by making Xehanort's keyblade disappear and appear on his hand with what seems to be barely a flick of his wrist. While we've seen Sora, Riku and Roxas being able to briefly take control of the same Keyblade, it's the first time we seen someone being able to steal another's person Keyblade, and a reminder that in spite of his hilarious personality, the Master of Masters is a ''very'' powerful being.

* In Back Cover, Aced and Invi are having an epic fight, during which Ava and Gula stand by and eventually join in on ''against'' Aced! Three on One! What's some of the next few scenes? Gula finds the wounded Aced who managed to get away from the battle and tries to finish him...but then Aced [[CurbstompBattle knocks him out in one hit!]] Finally we get a few scenes showing the damages around town from the fight: buildings damaged, bridges destroyed, pavement needing loads of repairs and Aced limping through the streets. Say what you will on Aced being a {{Jerkass}}, but he deserves SOME mention for being able to take on three of his fellow Foretellers and survive them!

* The battle against Darkness in Quest 977. To reiterate: Darkness reveals itself because the Union Leaders realized it's on their tails. After it affirms it is the only "Darkness" with them despite the existence of many more, Brain summons his Keyblade ''for the first time'' and rallies the other leaders in combat. Props to Brain for ''also'' seeing through the lie that Darkness has no goal, as it otherwise wouldn't go out of its way to do all this. Darkness indeed does have an objective: to fulfill the infection of Daybreak Town as ordained by the Book of Prophecies. Skuld declares that '''she doesn't give a shit''' about what's in the book if it means her friends are doomed, and afterwards Lauriam regains his senses and prepares to fight alongside them. Darkness boasts that one more ally will not change a thing, after which '''your character''' comes in through a portal and asks "then how about two?". After not seeing the Union Leaders in combat or your character getting the chance to really interact with them, at long last: '''you''' team up with four Union Leaders against Darkness. Oh and if you thought they'd be doing ScratchDamage as your allies in prior quests usually did, think again: '''each of them''' will be doing billions of damage just like you. If you can't beat Darkness before your turn ends, they will almost certainly make short work of it.
