I just rewatched the movie, and Ben does flinch just as much as the others. It's Beverly who barely flinches.

* One for Ben that's easy to miss: Bill leads the other Losers in a blood oath by cutting the palms of their hands with a piece of glass. One by one, the kids visibly flinch in pain as they're cut...except for Ben, who barely flinches. Which makes perfect sense when you remember that this is ''after'' he's had his belly carved by Henry Bowers and gouged by Pennywise; a nick on the palm is nothing after all that!
