* A meta example is the fact Jason’s actor for this movie, Ted White, was 58 when he filmed for it! This includes all of his own stunts (including one that involved him crashing through a window). He even continued doing stunts all the way until 2000 by which time he was 74! CoolOldGuy, indeed.
** Because of his extensive experience in stunt work over an impressive and long career, Ted White advocated heavily for the actors during stunt scenes, despite keeping separate from them on set. His true awesome moment of this came when Judie Aronson was filming her death scene, naked in a lake in near-freezing temperatures. White insisted to director Joe Zito that Aronson be allowed to come out of the water and warm up, recognizing she was well past the point of "uncomfortable" and entering "dangerous." Zito snapped that White should stick to being Jason and leave the directing to him. White retorted that either Aronson got out of water now or he'd walk, leaving the film Jasonless. Zito caved and Aronson was allowed out of the water (some say White was the first to meet her at the shore with a warm blanket). She warmed up, the scene was finished, but she got severe hypothermia and was very sick afterwards. And in true classy CoolOldGuy fashion, White doesn't speak harshly of Zito over this, stating he understands Zito had a film to make, a budget and schedule to maintain, and just needed a stern reminder that the safety of his actors was important, too.

* Tommy ''kills'' Jason. This wasn't a NotQuiteDead death either, he does what no one in the past three movies could do and ''kills'' Jason. Sure, he comes back later, but that's pretty dang impressive!
