* In the summer of 2020, BTS and the members themselves broke all kinds of iTunes records.
** BTS themselves broke Adele's record of most #1s on iTunes (with 'Hello') with Black Swan, which currently holds 105 #1s. They broken this record again with their Japanese release 'Your Eyes Tell,' (written and produced by Jungkook) which became the fastest song to reach 107 #1s ever.
** V's solo OST 'Sweet Night' for the k-drama ''Itaewon Class'' broke the record for most #1s, beating his own group's 'Black Swan' and as of August 2020 holds the most #1s period, at ''115''.
** Jin's 'Moon,' his solo song from ''MAP OF THE SOUL: 7'' has broken the record for most #1s for a B-side, with 101.
** RM's solo album ''Mono'' broke the record for most #1s for an Asian artist, holding 114 as of August 2020.
** Also serves as a Crowning Moment for ARMY themselves, who put forth the effort and energy to chart BTS' discography as a celebration of their seventh anniversary and for their upcoming comeback at that time. Thanks to them, nearly every member of BTS has a song with over 70 #1s, and the group themselves now holds many of the top spots in the record book.

* Being the first Korean idol group ''period'' to win "Musician of the Year" (and to be nominated at all in that category) at the Korean Music Awards in 2018. Rather than sales or voting, this award is purely based on the vote of a panel of judges composed by a variety of musicians, critics and other experts from the industry, with the ceremony itself being small and relatively unknown due to the organizers refusing to rely on sponsors (to avoid having their decisions influenced by external forces). Therefore, this is a credit not to their popularity, but their artistry.

* The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGbuUFRdYqU "Black Swan" Art Film]], a beautifully shot video featuring the Slovenian MN Dance Company inside an abandoned mall (BTS doesn't make an appearance) and a special orchestral version of the song, introduced by a quote by Martha Graham ("A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful"). This is doubly awesome because of the emotional choreography itself coupled with the cinematography and laser-work (with the main dancer being controlled and chased by his fears and shadows), and because this is part of BTS and [=BigHit=]'s way of introducing lesser-known artists and art to a more mainstream audience around the world.

[[https://twitter.com/gabipressello/status/1223436569085870080 People have noted also]] how the project is about connecting people around the world, being an interdisciplinary project that has also gathered fans as well as indigenous communities present in the project.

It takes the already SugarWiki/{{Awesome|Music}} "Black Swan" and puts it in a stage resembling a beautiful forest at nighttime in the background, with the members dancing (barefoot) a choreography with modern elements that makes references to the wings of a black swan as well as the feelings of fear and pain at possibly losing one's passion for their craft. While there are great moments from the more experienced dancers (Jimin particularly), every single member gets their dance to shine and gets the center at at least one point.
