Despite being stuck in a house for at least a fifth of the LetsPlay and not trying at all, he still ends up getting the highest level by an impressive margin.margin.
* The ''Call of Duty: Black Ops 2'' "Turned Mode" Let's Play. They play 4-5 rounds of it in twenty minutes, and [[spoiler:Ray wins every single round!]]
* Episode 38 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' is a CurbStompBattle for Ray. The LetsPlay has one person being VideoGame/PacMan collecting blocks as the others play the part of ghosts trying to kill Pac-Man. Ray is the first person to go and he is given three tries. In his first attempt, Ray manages to get 94 blocks. Michael, who comes in second place for the LetsPlay, managed to only get 92 and that was the total of his three attempts.
** The episode also really shows how GenreSavvy Ray is. When he goes, he immediately grabs the power ups near him and does not waste time killing anyone giving him the chance to collect a lot of blocks. He also uses the fact that he goes first to his advantage. He immediately charges to the starting point ensuring that the person trying to mine the blocks has to move quickly and be intelligent to get past him.
* Let's Play ''Halo 4'' Majestic Map Pack. Gavin went from last to ''second''.
* During the first ''VS'' episode, a one-on-one Halo: CE match, Michael nets his antepenultimate kill by offing Gavin with a single headshot.
* Ryan's CurbStompBattle (20 to ''negative 4'') of Michael in ''VS'' episode 2 . Ryan uses his challenger rights perfectly to set up Michael for defeat.
** Michael does get one shining moment: when he finally gets a legit kill on Ryan. It is his only kill but it counts for effort.
* [[spoiler: Michael]]'s neck-and-neck victory in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 42 when trapping a wolf. There are two wolves in the arena; several people are going after one, and he traps the other for the win.
* Ryan getting a 21 for 1 kill shot in the Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army Let's Play, thanks to some well placed dynamite. Keep in mind, the others were getting 3-6 kills with grenades.
* ''VS'' episode 3: Jack challenges Ryan to a round of ''VideoGame/GeometryWars'', which Ryan has never played. However, he earns a more-than-respectable score of 276,700; remember, this is his first time ever playing the game. (Jack still wins with a score of over 1.7 million.)
* In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' 43, a Thunderdome battle, [[spoiler: Michael]], tied for second with one gold block found, finds a stone sword. [[CurbStompBattle He does not lose again]]: at one point, he finds two gold blocks in a row, and completes his Tower of Pimps with ''half a heart'' left.
* ''VS'' episode 4: Geoff chooses a game that Jack wasn't sure whether he's played or not (Sega Bass Fishing) Jack proceeds to utterly dominate, getting a 5 pounder, then an 11 pounder- As the crew put it- Geoff was desperately trying to bait one, Jack was practically ''fighting them off''. Jack caught one that was as big as Geoff's biggest on ''accident.''
* ''VS'' episode 5 (''Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion''):
** Ray's managing to avoid dying even in seemingly hopeless situations; for instance, when completely off the side of the screen. [[WhyWontYouDie He does not die once.]]
** Michael's wealth of Creator/CartoonNetwork knowledge.
* In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 44, the whole situation quickly devolves into a free-for-all as everyone tries to grab the pieces of the tower from everybody else, and then hide them. During this stage of the game, Gavin is seen [[TeleportSpam constantly escaping from near-certain death using the Ender Pearls,]] often right before someone else is about to kill him. He dies once, and then his piece gets lost in the big, dark ocean... [[HereWeGoAgain until he finds it and takes it back.]]
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 45: The crew is attempting the previously-seen "Thread the Needle" game, a four-room Ender Pearl race. The first person to make it to the third room is Jack; he makes it out of that room in one throw. Then, to win the Tower of Pimps, he must hit the front of a one-by-one block and survive the drop onto the Tower, a feat that took Gavin and Geoff 30 minutes. Jack? One shot.
* ''VS'' episode 6: Ray's landslide victory to retain his title against Michael in Sonic & All-stars Racing Transformed.
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 46: The guys have to drop their way down a set of ice blocks onto the Tower of Pimps; first to three wins. At one point, Michael is the only one without a Tower (Jack, Gavin, and Ray each have one, while Ryan has two). Ryan decides to help Michael get a Tower in the next round; he does so successfully. How can Michael top the thrill of getting his first Tower of the game? By winning the next two rounds and thus the Tower of Pimps for the week in a come-from-behind victory.
** His last Tower deserves a bonus. The final jump in the Clouds Down map - from a cross of ice blocks to the top of the Tower - takes away 9 hearts of health, so you need a full health bar to survive. Michael dodges three people trying to knock him off while he waits for his health to regenerate. With 9 hearts exactly, Michael jumps for the Tower, dodging another attempt to knock him off-course... and in ''mid-air'', half a heart regenerates, a split second before he lands on the Tower, knocking him down to half a heart but allowing him to win the game.
* ''VS'' episode 7, where Gavin attempts to beat Ray at ''[[FearlessFool Call of Duty]]''. [[TooDumbToLive The one game that Ray wins absolutely, completely, every single time.]] [[LeeroyJenkins Having never played the game before.]] [[spoiler: However, [[CrazyAwesome this being Gavin,]] he still manages to score ''[[LetsGetDangerous nine amazing kills, including one long-range ballistic knife kill]]'' [[CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass making him one of the better losers thus far.]] Ray beats him by a fair margin, but ''[[TookALevelInBadass still]]''.]]
** To quote one [=YouTuber's=] comment:
-->"Gavin is no pussy."
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 47 ends on an epic {{Cliffhanger}}. The game is to enchant a bow with a 30-level enchantment. Michael (Level 24) and Ryan (Level 17) come across each other while mining. Michael gets the first blow, but Ryan knocks him down to two hearts. Michael, seeing that Ryan has iron armor, starts running away. Coming across a dead end, he starts bricking himself into a room... and the episode concludes.
-->'''Ryan''': "[[CallBack Remember]] that [[LaserGuidedKarma Potions]] Let's Play?"
* ''VideoGame/SurgeonSimulator2013 - Steam Version'' has not one, but two {{Shout Out}}s to Michael and Gavin's Rage Quit of the game as achievements: "Like an Animal", which has you tossing off everything off of the table and "Like A Wet Paper Towel", which has you [[spoiler:throwing the heart away]].
** Speaking of, watching Michael and Gavin [[spoiler: finally complete]] the heart surgery in this version.
** Not only that, but Michael and Gavin [[spoiler: successfully completing every level in the game]] in their two part ''Rage Quit''.
** Michael and Gavin's final goodbye to the game and the patient: [[spoiler: ''Like a Wet Paper Towel'']].
** In fact, Michael and Gavin's Let's Play of the ''Steam Version'' is so awesome, Geoff refers to it as "''Rage Quit'''s {{magnum opus}}" in AHWU #161.
* In episode 48 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'', Michael makes the mistake of attacking Ryan... who promptly chases him down and flogs him to death with a diamond sword.
* EVERYONE kicking tons of ass in ''Worms Revolution''. Particularly [[spoiler: Gavin]], who [[TookALevelInBadass dishes out massive amounts of damage to the enemy worms]].
** Michael's final turn in the second game. With one worm against Geoff's two, he uses a well-placed bunker buster to take out the one with more health by dropping him into the water.
* The person to [[spoiler: end Ray's winning streak]] in ''VS''? [[spoiler: Jack]]. Best part is that it's a total [[spoiler: CurbStompBattle for [[TheAce Ray]], [[MemeticBadass of all people]]]]. Regardless of how [[spoiler:Ray may have been outmatched and had no idea how to play, Jack took it to almost EvilGenius levels, as Ryan did for him.]]
** Even more awesome when you consider that [[spoiler:Jack himself said that he didn't think anyone was ever going to get the belt back off Ray.]] [[spoiler:Ray utterly beat the crap out of him in a fighting game.]] Well, what does [[spoiler:Jack]] do? [[spoiler:''[[LaserGuidedKarma Utterly beat the crap out of him in a fighting game.]]'']]
* In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 49, the AH Crew begins their journey to The End.
** After nearly fifty episodes of them fighting each other, [[TrueCompanions it's pretty awesome to see what they can do when they actually work together.]]
** Jack builds a massive, multi-story house for the team, complete with a "porch".
** Michael reflecting on how much better they've gotten since episode 1.
** Ryan digging Gavin out after he broke his last pickaxe deep underground.
** Ryan, Ray, and Gavin [[spoiler: decking out in full Iron Armor to go into the Nether.]]
* Episode 50, THE END Part 2:
** Though accidental, them discovering [[spoiler: that they happened to build their house within spitting distance of an End Portal]].
** Their encounter with the Enderman counts as one ''for the Enderman'', if you can believe it. Instead of fighting right off the bat, the Enderman [[ArtificialBrilliance seems to recognize that he can't beat a group]]; he teleports erratically and suddenly all around the map whenever they get near, forcing the crew to scramble while trying to find him.
*** It's actually because it was in sunlight, so it teleported away whenever looked at.
** When a Creeper winds up right on the doorstep of their house, the gang completely averts the way their encounters with Creepers [[StuffBlowingUp usually go]], all working together to kite it a safe distance away and then killing it.
* The Achievement Horse Tournament 2013 begins.
** Ray versus Barbara is the first match. [[spoiler:While Ray ultimately does go on to win, as you'd probably expect, Barbara TookALevelInBadass for this video and managed to win three rounds, as opposed to her match against Gavin where she only won a single round. Ray even admits that she did pretty well to get that far- at one point she was overtaking him!]]
** Similar to the first one, the second match (Ryan vs Jordan) has [[spoiler: Ryan winning, but not before Jordan ends up taking three rounds. The web community had predicted Ryan to win easily.]]
** Geoff versus Joel. [[spoiler:Joel wins despite Geoff being a guy who basically plays video games for a living.]]
** Michael Versus Lindsay. [[spoiler:A complete CurbStompBattle in Michael's favour.]]
** Gus versus Adam. [[spoiler:Gus ''completely'' curbstomps Adam despite not having played Halo for a damn long while. He wins five rounds, Adam only wins one.]]
* Geoff's wise money management in ''TabletopGame/{{Monopoly}}''. He wrapped up his victory to such an extent that the only reason the video was ''over an hour long'' was because of ArcFatigue.
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 51 features the gang versus the Enderdragon. [[spoiler:They win handily.]]
** Gavin finally does an [[RunningGag actual]] [[ChekhovsGun 360]].
** This piece of dialogue here.
--->'''Michael:''' "[[CasualDangerDialogue I'm getting my ass beat by an Enderman]]."
--->'''Geoff:''' "[[BerserkButton Not for long.]] ''[[TrueCompanions You leave my friend alone!]]''"
* Episode 13 of ''VS'' is Ray versus Gavin in London 2012 Olympics. [[spoiler: Ray doesn't just win. He [[CurbStompBattle completely destroys]] Gavin. To elaborate, Ray beats Gavin by 30 points in archery (which is especially bad considering that Gavin is [[MemeticBadass Mark Nutt]],) Ray takes first in Triple Jump while Gavin fails to even place. By this point, Gavin has no shot at winning but he plays Shot Putt because he wants to break the world record. But not only does Gavin fail to do that, Ray actually does it instead.]]
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 53 is the finale of the "Shopping List" challenge. It ends up going DownToTheLastPlay, with everyone either one or two items from completion... and the winner ends up being [[spoiler: Gavin, who had had a decent-lead earlier, lost it, and came back for the victory]].
** To elaborate: Ryan is only missing an egg, Geoff and Michael are only missing cocoa beans [[spoiler: (with the former being ''right next'' to a cave with some)]], and Gavin is only missing sugar. Jack and Ray are missing more than one item each. [[spoiler: Gavin finds sugarcane growing on a beach, boards the train back to the Let's Play, and silently hauls ass ''right past Michael'' into the safe zone as he finishes his cake. The way he trolls Ryan would be mean if [[LaserGuidedKarma Ryan hadn't drowned him]] at the beginning of this part. Also notable because this is Gavin's first victory in ''30 weeks''' worth of Let's Plays.]]
--->[[spoiler: '''Gavin''']]: "Hey [[spoiler: Ryan]], this is your thing, right? Have an egg, you ''[[ThisIsForEmphasisBitch bitch]]''!"
* Episode 14 of ''VS'' is Ray vs Ryan in ''Worms: Ultimate Mayhem'' for the PC. [[spoiler: Ray wins despite the fact that he was playing the game for the first time and Ryan claimed that he "used to plays Worms all the time."]]
* ''Let's Play VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIV'': Cops 'n Crooks part 1 has one round where Team Lads (Ray is the boss and Gavin and Michael as his bodyguards) are running from Team Gents (Geoff, Jack and Ray are police officers). Ray and Michael are in a car (Gavin's in a different one, [[DrivesLikeCrazy due to his abysmal driving skills]]) when suddenly Team Gents ram them into a fence. Ray jumps out of the car, and gets hit by Team Gents' car [[MadeOfIron but he survives.]] Michael screams at Ray to flee while he struggles to hold him off. What does Ray do? [[spoiler: He waits for Team Gents to kill Michael and then proceeds to blow up their car with an RPG. Then with the coast clear, he hops in Gavin's [[ChekhovsGun no longer useless]] car and drives away.]]
** Later during the same round, Ray and Gavin decide to continue their escape on the train tracks while Micheal keeps the Gents occupied. Despite the 3:1 numeric advantage and the fact that the Gents are sporting Assault Rifles to Michael's pistol, Michael still manages three kills to four deaths - [[spoiler:and keeps them distracted long enough for Ray and Gavin to escape while still managing to reach the escape point before the round ended.]]
** During the first round with the Gents as the crooks, Jack is the boss and ends up getting away from the initial gunfight, putting a large gap between himself and the Lads. [[spoiler: However, Ray is able to catch up to him on a motorcycle after several minutes, and takes him down, giving the Lads the victory.]]
** In another round where Team Lads are the cops and Team Gents are the crooks with Geoff as their boss, The Gents had just made it to Charge Island where their escape boat was docked and Jack and Geoff jumps off the western part of East Borough Bridge into the water below to get to the docks. Just as they arrive, Ray tries to take them out right at the docks, but gets blown away by Ryan with an RPG. [[spoiler: However, [[DownToTheLastPlay as soon as Geoff gets in the driver's seat of the getaway boat, Michael arrives at the docks in the nick of time to take him down]], barely winning the round for Team Lads. Michael even kills Ryan afterwards and survives an RPG blast from him.]]
** In the first round where Team Lads are the cops, in a surprisingly coordinated effort [[spoiler:they ambush Team Gents pretty much instantly and spray them to death, [[CurbStompBattle winning the round more or less instantly]]]].
* ''VS'' episode 15. Jack challenges Ray to the claw game at the nearby arcade. Yes, that [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claw_crane claw game]]. During the round, both are able to lift toys a short distance, and even move them, but no one wins one... [[spoiler: until Ray wins ''two toys in one grab'', keeping the belt]].
* ''VS'' episode 16. [[spoiler: Geoff manages to stop the menace that is Ray.]] It is as glorious as it sounds.
* During ''Things To Do In VideoGame/RedDeadRedemption'': King of the Mountain, Ryan manages to take down a bird with a throwing knife between rounds.
** The final round: After Ryan is eliminated early, Geoff knocks down Michael before being hit off the peak by Gavin. Michael immediately comes up behind Gav and punches him straight down the cliff for the win.
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 56 -- Hit List. Three words. [[spoiler:[[EvilCounterpart DARK]] [[DarkWorld ACHIEVEMENT CITY.]]]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BmmBcLTiDA&t=29m It is glorious.]]
** Another one is [[spoiler: Ray winning for the first time since Pac-Man - 19 weeks before]].
* ''Let's Play Grand Theft Auto IV'': Cops 'n Crooks part 2.
** Team Lads manage to win the first two rounds, all escaping in the first one and gunning down everybody in the second- in this case, Gavin got two of the three kills. In the third, while [[spoiler:Gavin almost ballses it up, he manages to get in a random boat and gun down a pursuing Jack, while Geoff ends up burning himself to death by accident. Gavin then outruns Ryan and gets into the helicopter, narrowly claiming victory]].
** In one of the rounds, [[spoiler:Team Gents recovers from a BRUTAL CurbStompBattle with an epic escape, with Jack and Geoff getting into the copter unmolested and Ryan pulling off an epic YouShallNotPass.]] In the following one, they track down Ray with relative ease and corner him on a bridge, utterly annihilating him, and [[spoiler:while Michael gets away, Gavin is not so lucky, forced into a LastStand in which he eventually gets [[MoreDakka shot to death]].]]
** In an early round with the Gents as the crooks, Geoff proves that [[spoiler:he should not get into a getaway speedboat, again. As he gets into the speedboat, Ray climbs onto the dock and shoots him point-blank through the windshield]].
-->'''Geoff''': "[[BigNo NOOOO!! NOOOO!!]] [[spoiler:Every time I get in a boat!]]"

Bringing in the AH Moments of Awesome from Rooster Teeth.

Added DiffLines:

* Pretty much any time the Creator/AchievementHunter guys work together, you can expect multiple moments of awesome from everyone.
* Gavin gets one in the first ''LetsPlay VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}''. After the others take the piss out of him for a long time and steal the cobblestone from his house, he makes an iron bucket, gets some lava, and pours it on top of the house the other four are sharing. This gets Michael killed twice and Geoff dies a few times too. Then he beats a creeper to death with a torch.
* In episode 2 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'', where they were attempting an achievement wherein you must ride 500m on a mine cart, everyone made a pact to make sure Gavin wouldn't get the achievement. This led to Gavin attempting to get it multiple times despite being killed and interrupted by the others; this happened until the end of the half an hour long video where Gavin made a final attempt- wherein he (not his character, Gavin himself) was tackled by Michael in an attempt to stop him. And yet Michael couldn't stop Gavin's character and Gavin got the achievement.
* [[HubCity Achievement City]] in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LGI2YNGPY4 episode 3]] of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' is quite a sight to behold.
** Particularly when you consider it was made in at least a day, over the course of twenty hours... [[OverlyPreparedGag all for the purposes of pranking]] [[NeatFreak Jack]].
*** Also, this was all before creative mode was available for the Xbox 360. Imagine how long it must have taken to make all the TNT in "Plan G", which would require them to collect over '''16,000''' pieces of gunpowder.
** The ''Let's Build'' series shows that it's becoming even better now. It now has glowstone and stone bridges, as well as the presence of the Tower of Pimps.
** The expansion of the city is pretty cool too, now with obstacle courses and arenas, a giant sheep, a giant pig and a giant Creeper [[spoiler:loaded with TNT]].
** ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 28 shows that they've added a small fishing camp, complete with makeshift tents and pier. Small, but it still looks cool. Episode 31 adds a house with five frames for wool that is located after a long ''Minecraft'' ride to the other side of the map; again, small but it goes to show just how much building they've got done in the few months of the city's existence.
* The person to win the first Achievement Horse Tournament was quite surprising in the sense that [[spoiler:it wasn't Geoff, Joel, or Jack, but was in fact ''Michael''.]]
* To celebrate Geoff taking his cast off, everyone in the office decided to play Achievement Horse with one hand (except Barbara, since she's inexperienced at Halo). While most people had a rough start and some eventually beat it, Michael was the only person to finish the course ''on his first attempt''. Cue jokes about how Michael's skilled at doing things one-handed.
* Gavin eventually delivering a CurbStompBattle to Geoff, Michael and Jack on ''{{Trials}} Evolution'' by winning two of the three sets.
* During their second ''Let's Play VideoGame/{{Worms}}'', Ray's last worm single-handedly fire-punched all four of Michael's worms to death through a combination of Michael's incompetence and a lot of luck to win the game.
* A race to the bedrock in episode 4 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' ends with Ray winning. He searched for wood, meaning he ended up an hour behind them (all the trees had been removed by Geoff), made some tools and managed to race down to the bedrock, thus winning despite the handicap.
* In episode 5 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'', Gavin finds Geoff in his mine and seals him back in there, forcing him to RageQuit. It didn't deter him for long, but points for effort.
** The major moment of awesome for the LP went to Ray though, who managed to not dick around as much as the rest, die the least, and eventually craft his own diamond pickaxe.
* Gavin winning round 1 of the Spleef tournament... only for Jack to win by simply [[BoringButPractical stepping out the way]] in the last round.
* In episode 9 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'', Gavin manages to go all OneManArmy on Michael, Ray and Geoff with an iron sword and stone pickaxe.
** Geoff immediately gets one afterwards when [[spoiler:he tackles Gavin off the chair and starts ''kicking the crap out of him'']]. This was so crazy that the microphones all disconnected for a few seconds.
** This ultimately helps Geoff win the round, as Gavin ends up being TooCleverByHalf and ends up giving Geoff more gold to win, another awesome moment for him.
* The 2012 London Olympics Official Game gives everyone a few:
** Gavin gets one for winning the archery, and while Michael does come last out of the non-NPC players he does get one round of perfect bullseye shots.
** Michael winning the weightlifting by one pound. Gav comes second after beating Geoff ''and'' Ray.
** Michael and Ray do pretty well in the shooting as well. Michael ultimately goes on to win with some awesome shooting in the last round.
* Most of the ''Trials'' Horse or ''VideoGame/HaloReach'' Horse maps end with one for either player.
** Gavin beating Jack in ''Trials'' Horse for the first time, after having lost both the previous matches.
* We present to you [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agrtXZbbG40&feature=channel&list=UL Gavin's TNT Cannon]] in VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}.
* Episodes 10 and 11 demonstrate a [[Series/{{Wipeout2008}} Wipeout]]-style course which Geoff and Gavin built. It is amazing to behold, much like Achievement City.
** Michael wins episode 10 and the Tower of Pimps, in the first runthrough when he has no idea how it is going to go.
** Ray wins episode 11, in which people are doing their second attempt.
* ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 12 where Geoff and Gavin invent a new game, Last Man Standing. [[spoiler:It is a complete CurbStompBattle with Michael winning 7 out of 10 rounds and personally demolishing the Tower of Pimps outside of Ray's house afterwards and putting it up outside of his house afterwards.]]
** Also, though it's pretty early on, one of his cries of victory is pretty cool, as well as hilarious:
-->"''RACE AGAINST THE ZOMBIES!'' (shoves past them into the safe house) '''''SCUSE ME! HE'S IN IT!'''''"
** The moment is so awesome that the winner essentially becomes both TheDreaded (when being the target of his wrath) and a MemeticBadass for ''LetsPlay Minecraft'' videos from then on.
* After Gavin and Michael spend the majority of episodes 13 and 14 of ''Let's Play'' Minecraft fighting for control of the tower, Gavin eventually [[spoiler: hides it under a somewhat inconspicuous pile of dirt while he leaves to make food and armour]]. Not too long after, Michael finds it, but he didn't have iron tools to mine it. Neither did Gavin, for that matter, so at this point, anyone could've taken it. That is, until Ray, kitted out in full diamond, actually manages to happen upon it. He proceeds to harvest it, replace the dirt hiding it, and hotfoot it back to Achievement City. Wonderfully enough, as this is happening, Gavin is trying to campaign for Geoff to announce when someone has the tower. He succeeds, and:
-->''Geoff'': "Ray has it. He just found it."
-->''Michael'' (a bit incredulously): "He ''just'' found it as the debate started?"
-->''Geoff'' (clarifying): "While Gavin was asking, he was mining it."
-->''Gavin'': [[OhCrap *worried silence*]]
** Cue the mad dash to the City as they desperately [[spoiler:and futilely]] try to stop him.
** Including Michael's last-ditch attempt to stop Ray by throwing down wood in front of him. It didn't work at all, but props for the creativity.
** Better yet? [[RageQuit Gavin decides to detonate the TNT under Achievement City after Ray assembles his tower]]. Despite literally having the ground blasted out from beneath him, Ray and his Tower both survive undamaged.
** A subtle one but Ray was also quietly watching Gavin and Michael at least around the time Michael found it, so it didn't take him long to find it at all.
* The second Achievement Horse tournament. It ends with [[spoiler:Burnie coming first, Kerry coming second and Michael coming third.]]
* During part 2 of ''Let's Play Worms 2: Armageddon'', Gavin manages to kill one of Michael's last worms in one game with amazing rope swing skills and a grenade.
** Possibly the best moment was [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYmv06GuWHc&t=15m06s Nandy Rewman's move]]. It can only be described as being an accidental chain reaction that left few worms unharmed.
* Their entire ''VideoGame/TroubleInTerroristTown'' Let's Play had at least one for everyone, as at some point every player went OneManArmy on the others, or used sheer wits to do so.
** "Shadles" killing pretty much everyone.
* Episode 19 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' is Ray cementing his status as a {{Badass}}. The competition is that everyone has a piece of the Tower of Pimps. A person must gain each piece and build the Tower of Pimps on the top of a pyramid. Ray quickly wins. Then, a bonus round is played where Ray manages to win yet again, albeit with some difficulty. They play one more round and despite throwing everything they had at Ray, he manages to just barely put the final piece on the tower. At the end everyone is shocked that Ray managed to win three times. In Geoff's words:
--> Geoff: "He won the [[UptoEleven bonus]], bonus round!"
** This probably created Ray's MemeticBadass status with the fans and becoming TheDreaded of the Achievement Hunter crew.
* Episode 22 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' involves an absolute CurbStompBattle on the part of Geoff, Ray, and Michael, beating the other team of Caleb, Jack, and Gavin in a ''Minecraft''-replicated Grifball game.
* Episode 23 is an entire '''episode''' of awesome for Gavin, while also solidifying him as a CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass. Not only does he take out almost half of the other combatants (all of them [[CombatPragmatist by sneaking up on and hacking away at their backsides]]), but he also wins the whole thing, despite pretty much everyone else working against him. Doubly so because the ''creator'' of the Tower of Pimps finally owns it.
** Especially when you consider how, after being killed, Ray, Jack, and Caleb began giving things to Geoff and Michael to help them and trying to dump lava on Gavin - the only help he gets is when Ray gives him a bucket of water and a boat, which don't help ''at all''.
* Episode 24 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' is ''loaded'' with these. It ultimately ended in a 3-0 win for [[spoiler:Gavin, Michael and Ray (known today as the Lads)]], but damned if [[spoiler:Geoff, Ryan and Jack (known today as the Gents)]] didn't make it competitive.
** There was the time Jack fired an arrow at Michael right as he was jumping through the air, dropping him into the pit of cacti.
** When Ray was mining Ryan's Tower of Pimps, Ryan suddenly appears, with an iron sword in hand, and ''immediately'' kills Ray.
-->''Ryan'': "No, [[PreAssKickingOneLiner I don't think so, Ray!]]"
* During their LetsPlay of [[VideoGame/TeamFortress2 Mann vs Machine]], they manage to stop the robots from destroying their base literally seconds before the bombs went off. ''Twice''.
** When the robots forced the crew back into their base, the Achievement Hunter crew, somehow, someway, managed to force the robots out.
* For Achievement HORSE #101, everybody was given three attempts to complete a course. The only one to finish it? Jack. LetsGetDangerous indeed.
* Episodes 25 and 26 of ''Minecraft'' feature the guys in their Achievementburg world, searching for a stronghold. Gavin ends up becoming TheHero, as he discovers a stronghold and guides the others to it (though he makes sure to deliberately kill Jack, the new ButtMonkey, in the process). While searching with Michael, his [[TheLancer Lancer]], they discover a library to dub their new home. [[MundaneMadeAwesome Then later, they grow a melon.]]
** Ray gets a few moments as well, such as actually ''creating a Tower of Pimps'' using gold blocks he had been carrying around for a while.
* In their Regicide Let's Play of ''Halo 4'', everyone does pretty well, though there are some moments from that stand out.
** On Abandon, Gavin going invisible and [[GroinAttack throwing a sticky grenade onto Geoff's crotch]]. He then plasma punches Ryan and Michael for two quick kills.
** On Abandon, Ryan being a {{troll}} and [[CombatPragmatist stealing everyone's kills]].
** Again on Abandon, Ray stealing the lead from Gavin by sending a hologram in to fool Gavin's motion tracker, then entering and beating him to death.
* Episode 2 of Let's Play ''VideoGame/CallOfDutyBlackOps2'' [[NaziZombies Zombies]] confirms that Ray's MemeticBadass title is well-deserved. Near the end of the Let's Play he's practically carrying his team (Gavin and Jack) close to victory, only failing because he's [[OneManArmy a single player against enough zombies for six]]. In the last few minutes he clenches victory not through heavy guns or weapons, but by leading an entire horde of zombies in a circle around a truck and taking his time, picking them off through shots and smart use of explosives. By the end even Geoff, Michael, and Ryan are rooting for him to win.
** The first Ray clutch was really amazing as well. He revived Gavin at least three times and kept running so that he wouldn't get swarmed. And he still had time to grab the Max Ammo. What makes the Ray thing so impressive is that he did not get much bonuses. It was only at the end when he was going OneManArmy on the seemingly never ending hordes of zombies that he started to finally get those bonuses. Even then, he didn't get all that many. He lasted that long by conserving ammo and ensuring that he doesn't get cornered by respawning zombies. In the end, he ends up with over 600 kills, more than triple that of Ryan who's in second place. When you look at the scoreboard, you really notice that Ray is carrying his team. While the GMR team has their kills fairly evenly distributed, Ray has more than double that of everyone on his team.
--->'''Jack''': That was like watching a robot play. That was amazing!\\
--->'''Gavin''': How does he do that?! What gun is he using?\\
--->'''Michael''': It's not the gun. Ray's smart and he doesn't suck like we do. [[CombatPragmatist He runs away]].\\
--->'''Gavin''': He's killing more people per second then I did all game!
** How awesome was this moment? The following week's Quick Bits, which showcases some of the funniest moments from a Let's Play, only shows the end. That's right. It was so awesome that in a Let's Play filled with FunnyMoments, only Ray's triumph is shown.
** The episode could count as a CMOA for all involved. Despite being on opposing teams, questionable competency, and repeated dicking around, they all manage to make it through the first ten waves fairly quickly, and it isn't until the final wave that they start faltering.
* Episode 29 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' had the six guys divide up into three teams of two. The teams consisted of Ray and Geoff, Gavin and Michael, and Caleb and Jack. Surprisingly, the most effective team is Caleb and Jack who quickly build a fortress in the sky to rain down arrows upon their enemies. Their fortress is so effective that even [[{{Troll}} Gavin's]] efforts to destroy their fortress are in vain. What makes this awesome is the fact that Caleb and Jack were the only two people to never win the Tower of Pimps in the Achievement Hunter office.
** Despite losing, Micheal and Gavin get in a few good moments, blowing up the TNT that Geoff and Ray had put at the front of the cave that they were in, using it to kill Ray before killing Geoff. Also, when fighting Jack and Caleb, Gavin manages to use TNT to blow a massive hole in the bottom of their fortress and use saplings and bonemeal to make makeshift cover against their arrows in the form of trees.
*** Actually, Ray was killed by [[{{Troll}} Geoff]] placing as many TNT blocks as possible near the entrance because [[ItAmusedMe he thought it would be funny.]]
* Let's Play ''VideoGame/MaddenNFL 2013'' is mostly CMOF after CMOF, given Gavin's lack of knowledge about American football, and it ends up a CurbStompBattle for Ray and Ryan. However, Gavin and Geoff end the game by completing an 85-yard Hail Mary for a touchdown, astonishing them, the other team, and spectator Michael.
* During the Let's Play ''Halo 4'' Bonus Episode, the first match the guys play... it's an utter CurbStompBattle in their favor. [[TheAce Ray]] even gets a [[NoCasualtiesRun Perfection medal]]. Their second game as a team does not go quite as well, but they manage to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat by five kills. During this game, Ryan manages to get a score of 30-2, getting most of these kills with a single Mantis.
* ''Let's Play Crimson Map Pack'' episode 2 - normally, during the Halo let's plays, the top three normally includes [[TheAce Ray]], Ryan and Michael (with Ray regularly taking first place). However, during this Let's Play, the winner isn't any of them - [[spoiler: it's ''Gavin'', who normally has one of the lowest scores. this time, his lead is 110 points more than second place Ryan, and ''200 points'' more than regular winner Ray]].
* Recreating [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNwDUuHlKvM&feature=em-uploademail most of Super Mario Bros. World 1-1]] in ''Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition''.
* RT subscriber Axialmatt. He's contributed three games to the AH team's ''Let's Play Minecraft'': [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajvP0rrlqV0 a NFL field]], [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXA4IsJTvRo a Grifball court]], and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTkBQA4Gdes a racetrack]]. Just look at all of them. LOOK AT THEM.
* Jack [[spoiler: ''finally'' winning the Tower of Pimps in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 34.]]
** Points to Michael and Gavin for actually finishing it too, and Gavin almost got it on his first attempt, only failing owing to ArtificialStupidity on behalf of his pig.
** Extra points to Gavin for shooting Ray (without a pig) off the course in one shot.
* Let's Play ''VideoGame/DeadSpace3'' demo: There's a part in the game where Jack and Michael have to fight monsters inside a room with a giant moving spinning drill. Michael, at one point, turns to see the drill about to shred him, and he manages to stasis (freeze) the drill ''while under the tendrils'', less than a second away from death. He successfully escapes.
* Michael and Gavin being completely unstoppable in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 35, going the whole episode killing Jack, Geoff and Ryan multiple times, even managing to kill [[TheAce Ray]], without dying once the entire Let's Play.
** It should be pointed out that the Ray kill is nothing spectacular, unlike the others. Geoff and Jack had the element of surprise so when Gavin and Michael are able to turn it around, it is impressive. After Ryan is killed the first time, he does manage to be more efficient by dumping lava whenever the two get close forcing the two of them to rethink their strategy, showing their flexibility in dealing with him. Ray, on the other hand, [[LeeroyJenkins just charges at Michael like an idiot]] and [[OhCrap quickly realizes that he cannot beat Michael by himself and soon dies after a failed escape attempt.]]
** Gavin ricocheting fireballs back at the Ghasts, even succeeding in killing one.
*** That doesn't do it justice. Gavin and Michael not only managed to land a spawn in the fortress as well, but [[spoiler: [[MagnificentBastard Gavin hopped into Jack and Geoff's portal, destroyed their beds on the other side, then sought them out to kill them spawning them nowhere near where they can possibly get to them.]]]] Dynamic Duo, thy name is Gavin & Michael.
** After Ryan is killed, he ends up following the Dynamic Duo through their nether portal. When Gavin [[LeeroyJenkins tries to charge him,]] Ryan is able to burn the ground, thus stopping Gavin. It does not last long but it's pretty cool while it lasts.
* Let's Play ''Madden NFL 13'': Super Bowl Special, mostly a series of funny moments due to Gavin's lack of football knowledge, has several awesome moments coming from [[spoiler: the victorious]] Team Lads (aka Gavin, Michael, and Ray; aka the Baltimore Ravens).
** Gavin, after finally figuring out what a running play is, asks where the "run-all-the-way" play is. Ray says that [[TemptingFate it's really hard]] - and promptly busts off a 25-yard run.
** Down 18-16, Ray declares the upcoming drive to be "the drive." Next three plays: 29-yard pass, 21-yard pass, 30 yard touchdown pass.
** Gavin's [[spoiler: basically game-clinching]] moment of [[GenreSavvy Genre Savviness]]. Michael and Ray have been on him for openly calling his plays all game, and this happens:
--->'''Gavin''': "All right, I'm going to pass it to Michael."[[note]]The screen displays that it is a running play.[[/note]]
--->'''Ray''': "All right, well I mean, I don't really recommend that..."
--->'''Gavin''': "[[BaitAndSwitch OR AM I!!]] HAHAHA!!!" ''(hands the ball to Ray, who runs for a 24-yard touchdown)''
*** Everyone's reactions ''make'' that play.
* In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 36, Ryan manages to beat the Dynamic Duo by mere seconds. He spends the entire episode quietly by himself, not getting involved with everyone else. Despite the fact that a Ghast blew up one of his potion stands and set him back, he is able to recover and snatch the victory away from Michael and Gavin. Considering that Ryan was the underdog, the win is incredibly satisfying.
** YMMV but Ray becoming a SpannerInTheWorks for the Dynamic Duo. When Gavin grabs the blaze-rod, he and Michael quickly leave to secure their victory. Ray wastes no time and follows them into the portal before they can destroy it. He arrives and it seems that he is quickly going to be killed by the two since they have diamond swords and Ray only has iron armor. [[ChekovsGun But then Ray's game starts lagging again. Only this time, it actually helps him.]] [[MadeOfIron No matter how many times Gavin and Michael hit him, Ray just wont die.]] It gets to the point where the two of them start saying WhyWontYouDie. He is able to survive for at least three minutes, waiting for Jack to show up and help him. When Jack finally shows up, Jack holds off Michael so Ray can kill Gavin. Ray is killed but he does succeed in killing Gavin and manages to delay the Dynamic Duo long enough that Ryan is able to win.
** The best thing about it, though, is that Ray was the only one who never came close to winning. The Dynamic Duo were able to dominate most of the game and just barely lost, Geoff and Jack consistently challenged Michael and Gavin and lost because Geoff was unable to make the portal in the end, and Ryan TookALevelInBadass and managed to pull a come from behind win. Ray, on the other hand, was the only one who never spawned in the fortress, was attacked by Ghasts, killed by Michael twice, forced to give up materials in exchange for his life, and spent the rest of the game stuck in the nether with no weapons. He was essentially the ButtMonkey of the two parts. So the fact that he proves to ultimately be Gavin and Michael's downfall and the fact that he is helped by lag which typical screws him over in these LetsPlays is awesome.
*** Despite a lot of setbacks, Ray was effective when it counted. The minute Michael and Gavin went quiet, he immediately retreated and unearthed his hidden nether portal. He was also careful to not let himself get cornered by the duo and proceeded in guerilla warfare.
** Ultimately, it's Gavin and Michael's own bickering that lead to the duo's defeat, even though Ray does prove a timely distraction : after the two deal with him in a fashion where they still have a massive advantage, Gavin and Michael waste ten minutes trying to make a potion with the wrong items. Ryan actually would have beat them ten minutes earlier if not for a stray Ghast blasting his first potion stand and forcing him to start over from scratch.
* Episode 37 of ''LetsPlay Minecraft''. Ray has made it to the tower for the second time but before he can mine it, [[{{Troll}} Gavin, in real life, runs over to his controller and messes with it causing Ray to fall to his death.]] [[KarmaHoudini Despite cheating, the game continues and Gavin is given no punishment.]] Then, at the end of the video, Ray manages to get to the end again with Gavin right behind him. Ray puts his obsidian block down at his spot. Before Ray can erect the tower, though, Gavin kills him and it seems that it will be an easy win for him, [[spoiler: [[WhatAnIdiot but then Gavin forgets to mine Ray's obsidian block and he erects the tower on Ray's spot,]] [[LaserGuidedKarma thus giving Ray the win]].]]
* A very subtle one occurs in ''LetsPlay Minecraft'' Apocalypse. Ray spends most of the LetsPlay goofing off with Gavin, avoiding the objectives completely, and [[GoodBadBugs getting stuck in a house for eleven minutes and a half minutes.]] At the end of the game, pay attention to everyone's levels. Jack is the lowest around 28. Geoff, Gavin, and Michael are around 32. Ryan is TheLeader for the LetsPlay and his level is an impressive 39. Ray's, on the other hand, is 44! Despite being stuck in a house for at least a fifth of the LetsPlay and not trying at all, he still ends up getting the highest level by an impressive margin.
