While I personally agree that it's likely gonna be a movie set in the current movie continuity, we can't say that for sure right now, and for all we know it might be a movie set in Alola and starring the original Mewtwo again. Better to play it safe until we have some actual confirmations on the matter, which will surelly come in months.
