14-year old Momona, a girl hailing from Jewel Land is a very optimistic yet clumsy and shy girl who attends the wedding of one and only nephew. She herself has no idea who his bride, Lady Diana is until the very moment she saw her walking down the aile and exchanging their vows. After the said wedding, she finally met her in person and Diana is happy to see her new sister-in-law. However not knowing for Momona, she got transported into a cold, wintery place and the only way for her get out is to follow the strange light from above.

When arriving at a frozen lake with a castle in view, she saw several girl who have been brought into the strange place and were greeted by Lady Jewel. She told that the girls were chosen to become Petit Ladies, in order for them to rise up the ranks and become the Lady of Ladies: Lady Jewel. As she give each and every girl their proof of candidacy: the Magical Letterpen, Momona rushed in to see what's going on but only to be greeted by her mentor, Ruby. Taking the pen, the girls were now taken inside the palace as Momona's unexpected journey to Ladyhood begins...

The Sixth Incarnation of the Franchise/{{Jewelpet}} anime series, Lady Jewelpet is the first series to be officially produced by Creator/{{Zexcs}}.[[note]]Studio Comet is still co-producing this anime.[[/note]] (''Manga/AkuNoHana'', ''LightNovel/ChromeShelledRegios'') This was directed by Itsuro Kawasaki and written by Natsuko Takahashi (''Manga/SevenGhost''). It first aired in TV Tokyo in April 5, 2014 which replaces Jewelpet Happiness in it's timeslot. In sense, it marks as the second series to be DarkerAndEdgier in tone after Twinkle, dealing more about Momona's life studying to become a lady.
