For centuries, the Mano family has been slaying demons. Yohko's grandmother Madoka is the 107th Devil Hunter, and Yohko's mother Sayoko would have been the 108th, if it wasn't for the fact that a Devil Hunter must be a virgin to take on the responsibility ''and'' she can only become one [[DangerousSixteenthBirthday when she comes of age]]. Sayoko became pregnant before she came of age, so the job automatically fell to her child, Yohko, who is now in line to become the 108th Devil Hunter. Unfortunately, although she's almost at the right age, there's still a chance that she might follow in her mother's footsteps - and the demons infiltrating her school are more than willing to help her break the lineage once again...

All five episodes of the series (and the music video special) were released in the United States by ADVFilms; the company's very first anime release was the first episode of the series, making the OVA a GatewaySeries for many anime fans of TheNineties. The last episode in the series was produced largely for the foreign market.

Not to be confused with ''DemonFighterKocho'', a similar tale which takes place at Heian University.
