Working Title: Happy Go Lucky World: From YKTTW

Air Of Mystery: Has this been Made Of Win'd? Because it seriously deserves it. Also, Nightmare Fuel much?!

Silent Hunter: Yes, it has.

Arbane: Anyone got a link to Zero Punctuation's Animal Crossing review? I couldn't find it. (Found it.)

Morgan Wick: Made Of Win it may be, but at the expense of making it clear just what the trope is. Is it just any general place that Tastes Like Diabetes, specifically any place so sweet it rubs off on everyone there, or is the person writing the diary actually a part of the trope? Or something else?

Also, we should make clear that this trope has nothing to do with the American college football game of the same name. (Should that go in I Thought It Meant?)

Earnest: I added an "editors note" to the bottom to try and clear this up. Sugar Bowls in general do tend to have the homogenizing effect seen in the narrator (though seldom to that extreme). A few cartoon/movies actually make it a plot point that flesh and blood humans or non-cute cartoons that spend a lot of time (or by going into) a sugar bowl at least transform stylistically/physically into a resident.

As to the football thing, I had no idea, but it's funny enough to merit a mention. ^_^

This Troper: Is it bad if this entry turns me on? (Not the cutseyness of it, but the idea of having your mind slowly lobotomized.)

Document N: Maybe not "get therapy" bad, but probably "spend less time aimlessly browsing the internet alone with your thoughts" bad.

Vampire Buddha: Removed this:
  • Subverted on Teletubbies. Teletubbyland looks like Sugar Bowl, but after watching more than a few minutes it becomes obvious that the Tubbies live in a nightmarish, Kafkaesque dystopia — a kids' version of The Village from The Prisoner.
** Where have the Teletubbies gone?

Humour is one thing, but you shouldn't take jokes and memes that seriously.
