Servbot: Removed...

Bait-and-Switch Lesbians (The female leads declare their mutual love no earlier than when Chikane gets mortally wounded by Himeko, which pretty much puts an end to their current relationship)

...because the epilogue after the end credits has Chikane back with the living and the two heroines "falling in love again" to quote the last line. So no, it is not an example of Bait And Switch Lesbians. Also, I really, really doubt Himeko and Chikane's relationship, with all its kissing, love confessions, and what-have-yous, would still fall under the "Romantic" Two-Girl Friendship range.

Dentaku: I disagree, since for far the most of the show it's one-sided. It only becomes mutual at the very end when it is actually too late, so there was no actual lesbian relationship in the series itself. If no better rebuttal is given for my addition, I will set it back up before the end of this week.

Twin Bird: But that could be said for nearly all of Boys' Love anime - twelve episodes of unrequited pursuit, ending with a kiss and an implied sex scene.

Seth: Even if it is right at the end of the series lesbians are lesbians. Doesn't seem to fit under bait and switch to me.

How many straight romances spend the entire series building up to end on a kiss - it's the happily ever after ending... Just with lesbians.

Servbot: If anything, Kannazuki's a subversion. Looks like it'll go the bait and switch route with the requirements for the save the world ceremony, then bam, enter The Power of Love that lets them Screw Destiny.

Dentaku: I still disagree, since the lesbian affair actually ends before it could start and therefore is not really part of the central plot. Since I am overruled by the majority I will let this be though. It's just a show ;)

prescience: I'm not sure where the Magical Girl aspect comes in. If someone can elaborate, please do. Pulling until then.
