- This editor has heard of a joke that Rebecca Forstadt, Minmei's VA in Robotech, was singing her songs drunk.
- According to the magazine Anime Insider, she wasn't drunk but did take a couple of shots to steady her nerves.
Interesting triv to be sure, but not really relevant to the trope.
