dkellis: I actually created a female character in City Of Villains called "Guy In Real Life", and I still got hit on and flirted with. I'm not sure how many of those were serious, but it got so disturbing that I never played the character again.

fleb: It's Internet-specific, as one of the New Media Tropes. So I guess it could be a Sub-Trope, if you squint. The Bridget and Dude Looks Like a Lady would involve actual live interaction.
Cliché: Personally I tend to suffer more from assuming everyone on the Internet is around 18 years of age. Is that a common occurrence, and if so, do we have something other than Most Tropers Are Young Nerds to explain that?
