This Troper: Pulled the following example:

  • An example

For a reason.

Other Troper: Put it back, for probably the same reason.

Lord TNK: Defend the use of that example, because it's a show I Entry Pimp.

Freezair For A Limited Time: Useless discussion-of-an-example type comment put here to avoid natter that will nonetheless go unnoticed due to having nothing to do with an Edit War.

Another Troper: Complaint that this trope is too similar to Trope X.

Adam850: Inevitable comment that the Trope Overdosed: The Series reference is shoehorned in.

Deus Ex Biotica: Arrogant inquiry about the relevance of major examples.

Ununnilium:

  • Example consisting entirely of a personal comment or question which qualifies as Conversation In The Main Page.
    • Reply to the above, extending it into Thread Mode.

Fast Eddie: Bitching about grammar, too many quotes, picture size, or natter, followed by ellipses...
something pulled

Specialist290: Request to know if a certain example is suitable for the page.
  • Said example referred to above.

Ununnilium:
This example also requires a long paragraph of setup, giving a bunch of background information and so on that make it much less punchy than the other example someone else has thought of.
"However, This Troper watches the show seventeen hours a day."

  • Obligatory [insert trope-tastic series or persons who create things that use a lot of tropes found on almost every major trope page] reference here.

Servitor_2152: Suggestion that this article is Made Of Win. Sean Tucker: Repetition that this article is Made Of Win.
Pteryx: Pleasant surprise at the results of the split. Insistence that these examples work better as a Just for Fun trope in their own right anyway. Support for preserving the identical body text for the two resulting tropes.

Meta Four: Comment about moving examples to newly-created Sub-Trope.
  • Example that was moved.
  • Another example.

Looney Toons: Excised

  • Actually, example is an ironic inversion which disproves the trope.
    • You obviously haven't been watching Series very closely if you think that.
  • Didn't character do thing that looks like trope but actually isn't?

as natter, and potentially argumentative at that.

Lord TNK: Announcement that this on the Cut List, because This Troper thinks it's too similar to another trope, and claims it didn't get real YKTTW approval.

Meta Four: Disagreement with reasons for Cutting.

Lord TNK: Restating of initial points without actually addressing the counterargument.

Meta Four: Reply containing a Predefined Message intended to shut down the debate.

Lord TNK: Mocking the reply, and then making up Blatant Lies about the poster in general.

Xenus Oregard: Interjection bashing both sides without offering anything substantial to say.

Anthony Mercer: Something written just so This Troper's name is on this page, even though he can't think of anything to write.

Pro-Mole: Borderline non-sequitur, five months after the discussion is finished, which of course won't be read by anyone else involved.

billybobfred: Moved blatant discussion to the discussion page.

  • Blatant discussion
    • Response
    • Another response
    • Further response

Wyvernil: Suggestion to improve or edit the trope which will never be noticed or responded to. The matter will eventually be dropped or taken to YKTTW where people will actually see it.

Pro-Mole: Not pulled, but:

  • Misplaced and/or atypical example

Shouldn't this be another trope altogether? Pro-Mole is definitely afraid of doing anything without asking before, even thought this is a wiki.

Pavlov: Massively over-thought-out point that I obsessed about for two days, entered on this page, re-edited three times, then finally realized no one else cared about. Again.

Meems: Complaint about too many long quotes forcing me to scroll before I can actually read the trope.

Random Troper: Complaint about the trope itself, because [Trope Name] Injokes is This Troper's Pet-Peeve Trope. Foaming rage.

Duckay: Agreement that this trope has Unfortunate Implications and is a Double Standard.

girlyboy: Accusation that both the above comments are Political Correctness Gone Mad, written by Strawpersons come to life.
