No word of god AFAIK; my guess its fanon based on people checking the initials of the other note-makers against the characters you meet and get emails from - OG is Olivier, ML is Melanie, and I think some of the other initials match up with email characters - leaving RL as the only note-maker you don't seem to interact with.
I've recently noticed a severe lack of multiplayer related entries. I can add a few that I've seen now, but IMO there should really have been a lot more by now.
Did anyone notice the server room level has a swastika-shaped corridor in its map? (The central corridor connecting the elevator to the three areas). What trope does this fit under?
Optimism is a duty.Removed the Five-Man Band Entry
As the article makes it clear: The Chick is played by a woman or girl. Someone female. Otherwise, it is not a Five-Man Band.
As The Chick is not a woman (And the woman in the group fills a different role), this is not a Five-Man Band.
- Five-Man Band: The Pirate community at Nassau.
- The Leader: Benjamin Hornigold. ( Who unusually is also the Sixth Ranger Traitor)
- The Lancer: Edward Thatch or Blackbeard
- The Smart Guy: James Kidd( Mary Read)
- Psycho Party Member: Charles Vane.
- The Chick: Jack Rackham.
- The Sixth Ranger: Edward Kenway being a Wild Card doesn't entire fit here, being a Honorary True Companion, and only becoming an equal with the rest when he gets his own ship. Justified, since he's the only fictional character with the rest being actual historical figures.
- Tag Along Kid: Anne Bonny. Who we first see as a waitress and then later as a member of Rackham's crew, as his lover. ( In actual fact, Mary Read was the real captain and Anne was her Number Two, and she becomes the same for Edward when Adewale quits as quartermaster.)
- A theme of the game is Sidekick Graduations Stick so the members of the Band change roles and positions all the time, with Edward Kenway the only one consistent to his position as Wild Card.
There are some examples on TV Tropes like Justice League Animation where The Chick is played by a male. Showing that he's the most feminine or the one who gets shouted at most in the group. Jack Rackham qualifies on that count.
Even if he's not The Chick, I don't see why the entire entry ought to be removed. Why not Move Anne Bonny there...
There shouldn't be.
Further, when there are doubled roles (like The Lancer here), you can exchange someone else in for the chick (like you propose with Anne Bonny), and there are so many people involved, that shows that this is not a Five-Man Band but instead a group where some people match some traits. It's not an example.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Should we call it The Team then? It fits the example better since it features a larger group of people.

The sub-point under Refuge in Audacity, which I already removed once, is Natter. It's arguing in the main page, and it's explicitly something we don't want here. Doesn't matter if the point you're making is correct.
If you think RIA doesn't fit, go ahead and remove it. That's perfectly fine. But adding an argumentative sub-point is poor wiki style.
Someone remember this for when we have a fridge page: The way Edward poses on the cover with arms out and sword across roughly outlines a triangle very similar to the AC logo. True, a lot of the covers have had the protagonist in a similar triangular stances but this would be the first time the lower part of the symbol has been included.
No matter what I say there is a 40% percent chance I'm not being serious, and if I sound like I'm not then I probably am.I know the WMG section isn't up yet, but I would like to propose one. Perhaps Achilles was part of Edward's crew, not to mention the ship he pilots is the Aquilla.
Hide / Show RepliesI think it would be fine to do that.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. It'll be made anyway and back when AC3 was announced a WMG was made pretty quickly (there's even a WMG on the release date for it) so I'll go ahead and make one and index it up for you here.
Unclouded TJ: Taking Bunny-Ears Lawyer too literally.
I have to ask, but where in the game do we get an idea that the Protagonist's name is RL? The only bit I'm thinking of is in the database entries. Did Word of God confirm that?
