So I poked at the Archer example a bit, but the Illya one still needs work, because they're both subversions more than they're straight examples.
- C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy has Gerald Tarrant, a dark-sword wielding WHPB vampire, who, despite being evil, is still the novel's anti-hero.
- Except that his hair is COMPLETELY BLACK FOR HIS ENTIRE EXISTANCE. But yeah, other than that....
There appears to be some dispute. Could those who know the work help figure out if this is an example or not?
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett Hide / Show Repliesthe white hair is very appealing and adds awesomeness to the main character. white hair rocks

Good Is Not Nice does not equate evil. And why should His "just" and "merciful" aspects be defined as separate anyway?

I don't get paid enough to do this shit.Looks like the main Mini-Sephiroth from Advent Children.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Pulled the old trope image because it was attracting a bit too much natter and put a shot of Kaworu from the new Rebuild Of Evangelion trailer in place. I hope we can all agree on him to be the quintessential white-haired (okay, Depending on the Artist) anime bishonen?
Edited by LORd Please be gentle with me. Hide / Show RepliesWait, sans that chick at the bottom, those are all guys? (Some of them had me a little confused there...
I dunno, it could go in the Image Links section.
Shouldn't it be "Bishounen"? The phrase "pretty boy" in english sounds kind of awkward and weird..
Hide / Show RepliesWay, way too many people who insist on English and/or don't know Japanese enough to understand the word "bishonen". Besides, bishonen literally means "pretty boy" anyway, so I think it works.
My issue is with the rename. It's non-gender-specific, and while a White-Haired Pretty Girl can be evil (ie: Icy from Winx Club, and please don't ask me why I know that), it's more common among male characters.
Edited by StoogebieCouldn't the Red Mage from the original Final Fantasy be thought of as a White-Haired Pretty Boy/Girl? Between his/her style of dress and, of course, his/her long white hair... Though, since s/he is a Warrior of Light, s/he is never a villain...
Hide / Show RepliesI don't know how a character doesn't have gender, but being a Warrior of Light sounds like a White-Haired Pretty Girl. Being a mage (magic user) just supports it further.
What about Takaya Sakaki from Persona 3 and Dave Strider from Homestuck?
The Elric-ish villain from Game of Thrones miniseries, who sold his sister off to the Conan type.
Cut:
While Frollo has Vague Age in the Disney movie, he definitely looks old enough for his hair to be naturally white.
While I left it in, I'm also unsure about Ursula from The Little Mermaid: hard to tell how old she's meant to be, but her hair could be white from age. (Of course, she's also an octopus-person thing.) So, leaving her in, but I'm on the fence.
