Nowhere does it say this is male only. If there's a female example that fits, just add it.

In the real life folder i used "me" as part of the example regarding that everyone wants to be a badass, but the problem is that i'm not sure if this against the no "this troper" rule, i think not since it doesn't refer to me as a troper but as the article itself, which disruption is the purpose of not using "this troper".

I know this is typically applied to male characters, but I'm pretty sure it would count if a certain female character is stricken with this trope; thanks in part to a horribly low self-esteem and (at least believing) she's Overshadowed by Awesome.
